Abstract

る。ところが、この様なものは、ヘッドガードのリヤパ
イプの内部を利用して消音器が設けられていたので、そ
れだけ製作が煩雑でコストが高く付く難点があった。

減装置を示す縦断側面図。図2は、図1の縦断背面図で
ある。吸気騒音低減装置1は、車体2、リヤパイプ3、
吸入口4、排出口5、消音器6、エアクリーナ7とから
その主要部が構成されて居り、この例では、エンジン式
フォークリフトに適用している。車体2は、吸気騒音低
減装置1の基本部分を為すもので、この例では、断面略
C型を呈する左右の側板8と、これらを連結する適宜の
連結材9とから成り、各側板8には、これらを利用して
タンク(左側には燃料タンク、右側には作動油タンク)
10が形成されている。車体2の内部にはエンジン11
が、前側にはフロントタイヤと荷役装置(何れも図示せ
ず)が、後側にはリヤタイヤ12とカウンタウエイト1
3が、後側上方にはボンネット14が夫々設けられてい
る。各タンク10の後方で各リヤタイヤ12の上方に位
置する車体2の各側板8の内部には、空間Sが形成され
て所謂デッドスペースになっている。リヤパイプ3は、
車体2の後側に立設されて内部に通路15が形成された
ヘッドガード16のもので、この例では、角パイプ状を
呈して内部には通路15が形成されている。ヘッドカー
ド16は、車体2の前側に立設された左右のフロントパ
イプ(図示せず)と、車体2の後側に立設された左右の
リヤパイプ3と、これらの上部に設けられた天枠体17
とから成っている。吸入口4は、リヤパイプ3の上位に
設けられて通路15に連通するもので、この例では、右
側のリヤパイプ3の上位右側に形成されている。排出口
5は、リヤパイプ3の下位に設けられて通路15に連通
するもので、この例では、右側のリヤパイプ3の下位左
側に形成されている。消音器6は、リヤタイヤ12の上
方に位置する車体2の内部に一体的に設けられて排出口
5に連通されたもので、この例では、右側の空間Sに形
成され、脈動音を低減するレゾネータ(拡張室)にして

に穿設された出入口とを備えた箱状を呈して居り、上壁

もので、この例では、入口が導管19に依り消音器6の
出口に接続されると共に、出口がエンジン11に接続さ
