2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in order to prevent infections caused by an endoscope during an endoscopic examination, the endoscope has been thoroughly washed and disinfected after the examination. However, the work of completely cleaning and disinfecting the endoscope once inserted into the body cavity of the patient is time-consuming and cumbersome. Therefore, in recent years, when performing an endoscopic examination, the endoscope for a cover is inserted into the body cavity while being covered with the endoscope cover, and the examination is performed. After the examination, the used endoscope cover is discarded and the examination ends. The endoscope is designed so that it will not become dirty afterwards, and it will be used for the next examination by covering the endoscope with a new endoscope cover without cleaning or sterilizing it. A cover type endoscope apparatus has been proposed.

However, no consideration has been given to the method of fixing the protective tube to the inside of the outer tube to prevent the occurrence of turbulence and buckling of the conduit, so the endoscope for a cover is not considered. When attaching to the endoscope cover, the insertion portion of the cover endoscope is caught by the protective tube in the outer tube, and when the cover endoscope is further inserted into the outer tube in this state. , The protective tube moves in the insertion direction of the cover endoscope, making it impossible to insert the cover endoscope, or the protective tube clings to the cover endoscope insertion part and the insertability deteriorates. For example, there is a problem that it takes time to mount the cover endoscope on the endoscope cover.

The operation of the cover 3 constructed as described above will be described. When the cover endoscope 4 is attached to the cover 3 in which the air supply conduit 26, the water supply conduit 27, and the suction conduit 28 are inserted into the conduit channel 50 of the protective tube 46, the tip portion 15 of the cover endoscope 4 is attached. The through-hole 4 for inserting the endoscope formed in the proximal end portion 20 provided on the proximal side of the insertion portion cover 22.
It is introduced from 8 toward the insertion portion insertion channel 51 of the exterior tube 18. At this time, the air supply conduit 26, the water supply conduit 27, and the suction conduit 28 are covered with the protective tube 46 having the proximal end fixed to the proximal end component 20 to be isolated from the insertion portion insertion channel 51. Therefore, the distal end portion 15 of the cover endoscope 4 is smoothly inserted to a predetermined position without being caught between the conduits or the conduit being entangled with the cover endoscope insertion portion 14. It will be inserted.

In this way, the protective tube fixed to the base end constituting portion which constitutes the insert portion cover portion is inserted into the outer tube by inserting the air feeding pipe passage, the water feeding pipe passage, the suction pipe passage and the like. By securing the channels, not only will each conduit not be exposed inside the outer tube, but also it will not run wild inside the outer tube, so the endoscope for cover will crush the conduit or buckle it. Without doing so, the insertion portion of the cover endoscope can be smoothly inserted into the insertion portion insertion channel provided in the outer tube of the endoscope cover.

Further, since the protective tube is fixed to the base end portion, friction caused by contact between the insertion portion of the cover endoscope and the protection tube and the insertion of the cover endoscope into the protection tube can be prevented. Even if force is applied to move the protective tube in the insertion direction due to being caught, the protective tube will not shift in the insertion direction, so the insertion channel will not be blocked and the endoscope insertion section for the cover will smoothly move. Can be inserted into the insertion section insertion channel.

Further, since the end portion on the tip side of the protective tube is made a free end, and the space portion is provided between the end portion on the tip end side of the protective tube and the tip end of the cover, the cover portion of the insertion portion is covered with the internal view of the cover. When inserting the mirror insertion part, even when the protection tube is extended to the tip side by the friction generated between the surface of the endoscope insertion part for the cover and the surface of the protection tube, Since the extension of the protective tube is absorbed in the space provided between the two, the protective tube does not block the insertion section insertion channel, and the cover endoscope insertion section is smoothly inserted into the insertion section insertion channel. can do.

Since the outer tube is a thin flexible tube, it is generated between the insertion section surface of the cover endoscope and the inner surface of the outer tube when the cover endoscope insertion section is removed from the insertion section cover section. Due to the friction caused, the outer tube may be caught between the insertion portion of the cover endoscope and the tube connection opening in the vicinity of the tube connection opening and may not be smoothly removed. For this reason, a hard portion 52 as shown in FIG. 6 is provided in the vicinity of the tube connection port of the exterior tube 18 connected to the tube connection port 55 of the base end component 20 shown in FIG.

As described above, since the proximal end of the outer tube is formed to be harder than the distal end side, the outer tube is connected to the tube when the cover endoscope insertion section is removed from the insertion section cover section. Since it is not caught between the mouth portion and the cover endoscope insertion portion, the cover endoscope can be easily removed. That is, this makes it possible to provide a cover-type endoscope having excellent insertability and detachability.
