Description of the Related Art Conventionally, for example, a thin display device such as a plasma display device has a feature that the depth is thin and the weight can be reduced. Therefore, as shown in FIG. In addition, it is preferable that the stand 3 be as thin as possible. However, the thinner it is, the more unstable and easy it is to fall, and there is a problem that the display surface 2 collides with the mounting surface and is damaged during the fall.

A parallel support shaft is provided, and one end of an arm that has a substantially L-shape parallel to the groove and is rotatable only forward is pivotally supported on the support shaft, and the other end of the arm is substantially flush with the main body. The speaker is attached, and when the main body falls, the speaker is rotated forward of the main body so that the outer surface of the speaker receives an impact. Further, the groove portion is composed of a concave portion which is open in two directions, a rear surface side and a side surface side, and one end of the arm, which is axially supported, is parallel to the rear surface inner wall of the concave portion. Further, the arms are provided above and below both side surfaces of the main body. Further, the outer surface of the speaker has an arc shape. Further, the cushioning material is attached to the outer side surface of the speaker.

In FIG. 1, (a) is a front view of the display device, and a display surface 2 is provided on the front surface of the main body 1 and is placed on a stand 3. On both side surfaces of the main body 1, an outer surface has an arcuate shape, and speakers 4 are provided in grooves 5 provided on both sides of the rear surface of the main body 1 so as to be substantially flush with the main body 1. It is rotatably attached to the front by a V-shaped arm 7. As shown in FIG. 2, the groove portion 5 is open in two directions, that is, the rear surface side and the side surface side of the main body 1, and a spindle 6 parallel to the side surface of the main body 1 is provided therein. Further, one end 7 of the arm 7 is attached to the support shaft 6.
a is pivotally supported, and the other end 7b of the arm is fixed to the back surface of the speaker 4 with a screw 4a. The arm is axially supported so as to be parallel to the inner wall 5a when the main body 1 is upright.

Since the arm 7 indicated by the broken line is arranged in parallel with the inner wall 5b when the main body 1 is upright, the speaker 4 also indicated by the broken line is substantially flush with the main body 1. It is located in. As the main body 1 falls forward, the speaker 4 rotates forward by its own weight as shown by the arrow, the outer surface of the speaker 4 collides with the mounting surface, and the impact of the collision is received by the outer surface of the speaker 4. Since the impact is not directly transmitted to the main body 1, the impact on the display surface 2 is mitigated. Further, since the shape of the side surface of the speaker 4 is arcuate, the main body 1 vibrates around a point where the main body 1 comes into contact with the mounting surface on the outer side of the speaker 4, thereby converting energy due to impact into vibration energy for display. The shock transmitted to the surface 2 can be further reduced. Also, the outer surface of the speaker 4 is assumed to have an arc shape,
It does not necessarily have to be arcuate. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, if a shock absorbing member 8 such as rubber or sponge is attached to the outer surface of the speaker 4, the shock can be further reduced.
