2. Description of the Related Art As is well known, a unit such as a bathroom or a toilet in a building is filled with steam, odor of filth, etc., and the air in each unit becomes dirty, and the dirty air has an unpleasant odor on the unit wall. It also causes the formation of mold and the like. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to replace the dirty air in each unit with fresh outside air to ensure a clean environment inside the unit. Therefore, a ventilation system is installed on the ceiling in each unit. ing. As shown in FIG. 5, the ventilation device 3 exhausts air to the outside of the outer wall 6 of the building through the connecting duct 10. In this case, since the eaves 5 of the building becomes an obstacle and the gap between the outer wall 6 of the building and the unit wall 2b is narrow, the above-mentioned connection for connecting with the duct 4 of the ventilation device 3 installed on the ceiling 2a of the unit 2 The duct 10 has a thin thickness such that the bellows-shaped straight portion 10a is crushed obliquely, and is placed in a gap between the outer wall 6 of the building and the unit wall 2b. Then, one end of the connecting duct 10 opposite to the duct 4 has an outer wall 6
Is connected to the cap 11 attached to the outside of the.

With the above means, the upper duct body and the lower duct body can be expanded and contracted in the height direction by the fitting connection of the upper duct body and the lower duct body, and the upper duct body and the lower duct body can be expanded and contracted in the height direction. It is possible to arbitrarily set the height level up to the tubular portion of the main body, but the height level is set freely within a predetermined range. At this time, the upper duct lower body and the lower duct lower body, which are housed in the outer wall and the unit wall, are easy to fit because at least one of the two surfaces of the cross-sectional shape facing each other is substantially flat and substantially parallel. The required displacement can be secured.
