弱くなって刃先の欠損を招き、また側面が平面に対して
鋭角に形成されているために、取付座の側壁面への密着
が阻害されることから、スローアウェイチップの取付安
定性に問題があり、これらが原因となって切削面の高精
度が得られない点に解決すべき課題があった。
