Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a fluorescent lamp that is kept away from children, displays the time even in the dark, and can be set to an alarm time by incorporating the alarm clock having a luminous dial in a ceiling suspension fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION: A timepiece (5) which has a luminous dial with a switch 1 (3), a switch 2 (4), a button 1 (6), and a button 2 (7) and is provided with an alarm function is incorporated in a ceiling suspension fluorescent lamp (1). Setting of time is performed by using the buttons 1, 2 in such a state as turning off the switches 1, 2. In the case of setting the alarm function, the switches 1, 2 are turned off and on respectively, a time to be set is set by using the buttons 1, 2, and in the case of completing the setting, the switch 1 and the switch 2 are turned on and off respectively. After that, the alarm sound is issued at the set time every day and when the alarm sound is silenced, a string (2) is lightly pulled. The fluoresncent lamp is switched on/off by strongly pulling the string (2).

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a device in which a fluorescent lamp hung from the ceiling is incorporated with a luminescent clock and has the function of an alarm clock.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an alarm clock that informs the user of getting up has been placed at the bedside. As a result, they sometimes kicked with their feet when waking up, or they were broken by children as play tools.
Therefore, it has been desired to develop a timepiece that can be kept out of the reach of children and that can keep track of the time.

Therefore, we have developed a fluorescent lamp with a built-in clock that can detect the time and set the alarm time in the ceiling-mounted fluorescent lamp. In addition, this fluorescent lamp has the function of a luminous display so that the time can be known even when the room is dark.

[Claims] 1. A fluorescent lamp having a structure in which a clock is incorporated in a ceiling-mounted fluorescent lamp. 2. The fluorescent lamp according to claim 1, wherein the timepiece also comprises a luminescent character display panel and also functions as an alarm clock.
