Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate perforations which are made by a needle in machine- stitching and to prevent fine dust from passing through perforations in a filter by using a synthetic resin nonwoven fabric and forming it into a cup shape by thermally fusing seams together. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner body 1 has a power source battery 2, a motor 3 which is driven by the power battery and a fan 4 which is directly connected to the motor 3, and an electric circuit is opened and closed by a switch 5. A dust case 6 is attached to the head of the cleaner body 1 in a detachable manner, and a suction opening 10 which sucks dust by the rotation of the fan 4 and a check valve 11 which prevents sucked dust from flowing backwards are provided. The dust case 6 contains a soft polyvinyl chloride resin sealing packing 8 which is formed in a filter frame 7 as an integral part thereof and a filter 9 which is formed in a cup shape by induction-welding polyester nonwoven fabric seams with a pore diameter of about 10 to 20μm. Thus it does not happen that fine dust may pass through perforations of the filter and sticking to the motor and the switch, thereby malfunction can be prevented from causing.
