は、水平で長い水平配管部16でエアーによって連続し
た均一の流れとなる。コンベヤ22で搬送される缶蓋シ
ェル21を図示しないセンサーで検出し、該缶蓋シェル
21がノズル20の真下にくるタイミングで電磁弁18
を開いてノズル20から潤滑剤を缶蓋中央部にスプレー
する。それにより、缶蓋シェルの中央部に潤滑剤が薄く
均一に塗布される。缶蓋シェルへの潤滑剤塗布量の調節
は、潤滑剤定量吐出器1からの1回毎の吐出量を調整す
るか、電磁弁2の作動回数、即ち滴下回数を調整する
か、又は両方を同時に調節するか何れの手段によっても

囲で調節することによって、缶蓋シェル中央部への付着
量を0.02mgの微小量から0.8mgまで自在に調節す
ることができ、しかも均一に塗布することができた。ま
た、水平配管部16の長さを20cmにすると潤滑剤の十
分な細流が得られず、所望の範囲の塗布量が得られなか
った。従って、本実施例によれば、エアー配管の水平配
管部の長さは、50cm以上、望ましく1〜2mの範囲が
適当であることが判明した。また、エアー配管は、水平
配管部は水平であれば良く、平面内で屈曲したり、渦巻
状になっていても同様な結果が得られた。しかしなが
ら、エアー配管が傾斜している場合は、エアー配管が長
くても潤滑剤の連続した均一流が得られなかった。以上
の実験例により、本発明の潤滑剤塗布方法が、缶蓋リベ
ット部への潤滑剤塗布等、部分的に微小に潤滑剤を塗布
