BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION switchboard or display board, and referred the tessellated panels, the cross-cut by a partition wall provided in the vertical and horizontal fixed interval
The square path 3 of a metal grid formed in a grid pattern, there is what constitutes the board by mounting the Viewing device or blind-like tiles. In this mosaic type panel , when viewing a display device that illuminates a figure or the like, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 9, the surface of a blind tile B that is detachably attached to a grid A is shown.
In applying Viewing as a through-hole C, with fitting the acrylic plate D (illuminating plate) having a light-transmitting holes C, mounted an illumination unit F for illuminating in small number of light emitting diodes E behind tile B also the are known you.

The function of the cut groove 12 of the light guide member 8 among the plurality of light sources is as follows.
When turning on the light source facing the inward of the display shape surrounded me, side <br/> kerf 12 of the light guide member 8 as shown in FIG. 4 is a reflecting surface, the illuminating plate 7 Only the inner part of the display shape
Is GaTeru light display. At this time, the light of the light source that faces the inside of the display shape of the light guide member 8 does not leak to the outside of the display shape, so that the display shape appears clearly on the illumination plate 7 . When the light source facing the outside of the display shape of the light guide member 8 is turned on in the same color as the inside light source, the entire surface of the illumination plate 7 is illuminated in the same color, and the display shape disappears . Also as a light source
It has multiple types of light sources that emit different colors.
When the light source that faces the outside of the display shape of the light guide member 8 and the light source that faces the inside are illuminated with different colors , the inside and outside of the display are color-coded and illuminated. Male light guide member
In the case of the optical member 8a and the female light guide member 8b,
The light source facing the mold light guide member 8a and the female light guide member 8b.
The same operation as above can be performed by turning on the light source facing the light source.

[0014] To engraved kerf 12 in the light guide member 8, for example, by laser processing in such a smooth side of the kerf 12 is a light reflection surface, and switching the width of the groove is in the extremely narrow It can be processed. Very narrow kerf width
As a result, as shown in FIG. 3, the kerf passes through the intermediate position between the light emitting diodes and the light emitting diodes which are adjacent to each other as much as possible.
You can When the kerf 12 passes directly above one light emitting diode , the light emitted from the light emitting diode
Illuminates both the inside and outside of the kerf, resulting in a sharper display.
Will be damaged. Therefore, the kerf 12 is directly above
Light-emitting diodes that pass through should not be illuminated .

In the illuminated display device according to the present invention, the light emitting diode is used.
When the switch is turned on, the kerf
Both sides of the groove become light-reflecting surfaces, and the light inside the kerf is outward.
In addition, the light from the outside does not travel inward . For example, the light emitting diode chips 10a and 10b that emit light of different colors are arranged at one light emitting position, and the light emitting diode chip 10a is located in the inner part of the display shape surrounded by the cut groove 12 and the light emitting diode chip 10b is located in the outer part. When emitting light, the inside of the display shape is the light emitting diode chip

The cut groove 12 penetrates the light guide member 8 , in other words, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 , the outer shape is a desired display shape.
Shaped male light guide member 8a and a desired display shape
The light guide member may be configured with the female light guide member 8b having a through hole . In this case, for a more reliable reflection surface an inner circumferential surface of the outer peripheral surface and the female guide member 8b of the male guide members 8a, Ru possible der applying silver mirror processing, such as chromium deposition.

The light source for facing the light guide member 8, as much as possible
Many light sources, for example, to use a large number of illumination substrate are arranged at a high density light-emitting diode on a substrate is preferred in order to obtain a bright display surface without illumination unevenness. However, it is not always the case that the light sources are densely arranged.
There need not, it can be carried out with light sources positioned inwardly of at least the display shape, the present invention as long as it can be turned to distinguish a light source located outside.

[0020] To obtain a bright Table示面, utilizing a substrate having a light emitting diode arranged at a high density, it becomes large as a whole heat generated from the light emitting diodes, the internal display surface and illuminating the display device becomes high there is a possibility. Therefore , in the illustrated embodiment, the mounting base 4 is integrally molded with a metal material that is a good conductor of heat , and the generated heat causes the legs to come into contact with each other from the pedestal portion 4a and the leg portions 4b of the mounting base 4. transmitted to the metal grid 2 are, so that the heat inside the Viewing device is not Mora basket. Further, in the illustrated embodiment , the present invention is applied to an illumination display device which is detachable so that it can be attached to a mosaic type panel.
While shows an example of application, the present invention is Ru can also be applied to those as screwed Other illumination display device, for example a flat board.

Don't get me wrong. Therefore, the display that matches the shape of the light guide member
Vividly drawn on the illumination plate. Furthermore, of the light guide member
If the display shape is a combination of multiple shapes, which shape
Depending on the selection and combination of lighting the light source facing
Therefore, complicated display change can be easily performed.
