When it comes to downsizing, weight reduction and reliability of wireless devices, ID
-Providing a socket structure for mounting ROM or writing to ID-ROM, rewriting, and verifying contents is against the miniaturization and weight reduction of the radio, and the socket structure also reduces reliability. However, the cost increases, and a mechanism that is completely unnecessary for normal operation is provided, which is a significant disadvantage.

In particular, receivers for wireless calls are becoming smaller and lighter day by day, and sockets for ID-ROMs that individually specify the calling number, alarm tone, etc. are structurally large, and this is also due to the reliability of the contacts. There are many problems such as the fact that it is expensive, such as gold plating, and that the reliability is unavoidable due to the presence of the contacts.

FIG. 2 shows a typical data format for the radio paging receiver 1. In order to correctly decode the logical signal, the preamble signal P sent from the dedicated ROM writer 2 is received by the radio paging receiver 1 and is sent after the sync signal (SC) for establishing bit synchronization and frame synchronization. The received information data (D) is received based on a certain rule, and a call / alarm operation of the display unit 15 by the call / alarm device 151 and an information display operation by the light emitting diode LED are performed.

In the present invention, information (write, rewrite, read command signal) W for executing access to the ID-ROM 14 is pre-fixed in the portion of the information data D sent after the synchronizing signal SC as shown in FIG. Then, subsequently, writing, rewriting, and reading instruction information DW for the ID-ROM 14 is given, and then an end signal E of this information DW is given.

In the POCSAG code format, a preamble signal P for establishing bit synchronization is preceded, and subsequently the decode timing of the logical information signal is determined by the frame synchronization signal SC. In the usual case, the individual call signal and the message information signal are sent out for each divided group following the synchronization signal SC. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, the information signal W for writing, rewriting, and reading is supplied to the entire group of this portion (second batch in FIG. 3) by the wireless transmitter 22 of the dedicated ROM writer 2. Send out. This signal W is received by the wireless receiving section 11 of the wireless reading receiver 1, and this signal W is sent by the data processing section 12 to the ID-ROM 14
The control unit 13 switches the operation of the receiver to the access mode for the ID-ROM 14, and informs the dedicated ROM writer 2 that the mode has been switched by blinking the LED 152. After that, the dedicated ROM writer 2 sends the write information signal DW and the write information end signal E to the ID-ROM (the third batch in FIG. 3). The radio receiving unit 11 of the radio paging receiver 1 receives the DW, temporarily stores it in the temporary memory MDW17, and at the time of receiving the information end signal E, reads the contents of the temporary memory MDW17 and blinks the LED 152 according to the logical information. . Dedicated RO
In the M writer 2, the blinking state of the LED 152 is read by the optical signal-electrical signal converting section 23, and the matching section 24 verifies that it matches the content of the write information signal DW. When the collation result information signal DW and the information signal MDW of the reading / collating unit 24 match, the write execution command signal WR is sent from the dedicated ROM writing unit 2. The radio reception unit 11 of the radio call receiver 1 uses this signal

-After executing the matching verification of the contents of ROM14, the writing completion display is notified by blinking the LED, then the contents of the ID-ROM are read out, the LED152 is blinked according to the contents, and then the normal radio call receiver Move to operation mode. Dedicated ROM
The writing device 2 reads this LED blinking state, confirms again that it coincides with the writing information signal DW, and finishes the writing operation.

It should be noted that the fact that the rewriting of the ID-ROM 14 can be easily performed wirelessly from a distance includes many problems. Therefore, in order to prevent this, in FIG. 3, in the third batch, only the radio call receiver that matches the identification signal ID already written in the ID-ROM 14 of the radio call receiver 1 concerned is used. In order to prevent access, the ID information is transmitted to the radio call receiver so that it can be rewritten only by a person who is in charge of managing the radio call receiver. Although the identification signal ID and the dark illumination information are collated and written, they are omitted from the detailed explanatory diagram for the sake of simplicity.

Further, in the present embodiment, the case of the POCSAG code format is shown, but the same can be done even if the data format is different.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the conventional ID
-Reliable because the socket and connector structure required for mounting, writing, rewriting, reading, and collating the contents of ROM14 is not required, and the equipment is downsized, lightweight, low cost, and contact points are not required. It has a great effect on improving the performance of the ID-ROM itself, especially in devices requiring miniaturization and weight reduction such as receivers for wireless calling.
It is also possible to integrate them with one another, and the effect is extremely large.

1. A ROM (14), a control unit (13) and a display unit (1
Writing ROM in wireless receiver (1) equipped with 5)
In the rewriting and collating method of contents, a write command or a rewriting command and subsequent data and a reading command or a writing execution command are issued from the dedicated ROM writer (2) using the radio frequency of the reception frequency of the radio receiver (1). When the control unit (13) receives a write command or a rewrite command to rewrite the access mode to the ROM (14) and receives a write execution command, the control unit (13) transfers data to the ROM (14).
To the ROM or when a write execution command is received, the contents of the ROM (14) are rewritten with data, and the ROM
The data to be written or rewritten in (14) is read out by a read command, and the display section (15) is caused to blink according to the content, and the dedicated ROM writing machine (2) electrically changes the blinking operation of the display section (15). A method for writing / rewriting ROM and collating contents in a wireless device, which comprises converting into a signal, collating the data of the electric signal with the transmitted data, and transmitting a writing execution command when they match.
