The present invention relates to an indwelling bladder catheter.
【0002】[0002]
To date, indwelling bladder catheters have been used for purposes such as urination, bladder collection, and bladder cleansing. Such a bladder indwelling catheter is composed of a tubular catheter tube having a lumen formed therein, and is generally made of a flexible material such as rubber or plastic. Then, when cleaning the bladder, a cleaning chemical is introduced into the bladder through such a catheter and used. However, to date, no bladder indwelling catheter having a structure capable of sterilizing the inside of the bladder by converting chlorine ions contained in urine in the bladder into chlorine gas by electrolysis has not been proposed.

An object of the present invention is to provide a bladder indwelling catheter having a structure suitable for sterilizing the inside of the bladder.
【0004】[0004]
The indwelling bladder catheter of the present invention comprises a catheter tube having a lumen and a conductive wire having an electrode at its front end, the conductive wire being arranged in the lumen, and the catheter tube having a front end portion. An opening is provided, and the electrode is present at the position of the opening. Further, the present invention provides the catheter for indwelling the bladder, wherein the catheter tube has a balloon inflation lumen independent of the lumen, and the balloon is provided at a position of the catheter tube on a rear end side of the opening. It is also characterized in that a balloon portion communicating with the inflation lumen is formed.
First, the internal structure of a preferred example of the indwelling bladder catheter of the present invention is shown in FIG. 1 to explain the present invention. FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the front end portion of the catheter illustrated in FIG. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a state when the portion shown in FIG. 2 is viewed from above.
First, the catheter tube 1 in the indwelling catheter for bladder of the present invention is a tubular body having one or more lumens 2 formed therein, and has flexibility similar to a conventional catheter tube. Anything is acceptable as long as it is made of rubber or plastic. In the catheter tube 1 illustrated in FIG. 1, a connector portion 8 and a branched connector portion 9 are formed on the rear end side. A conductive wire 3 is arranged in the lumen 2 of the catheter tube 1, and an electrode 5 is provided at the tip of the conductive wire 3. In the present invention, the electrode 5 is preferably made of a material resistant to chlorine gas generated during use, and platinum or gold is particularly preferable, but the tip of the conductive wire 3 is processed into an electrode shape. It may be one. Although the conductive wire 3 is generally provided so as to be inserted into the lumen 2 of the catheter tube 1, the conductive wire 3 is arranged along the catheter tube 1 or embedded therein. Is also good. 1 to 3 show the conductive wire 3 in which an insulating material is provided on the outer periphery of the metal wire, but the present invention is not limited to this.
Further, in the indwelling bladder catheter of the present invention, the opening 4 is formed in the front end portion of the catheter tube 1, and the electrode 5 is located at the position where the opening 4 is formed. . The bladder indwelling catheter of the present invention illustrated in FIG. 1 has two openings 4, but at least one opening 4 is required, and the shape of the openings 4 is shown in FIG. The shape is not limited to the elliptical shape as described above, and may be any shape.
In the present invention, a structure in which a balloon portion is formed at a position rearward of the opening 4 is particularly preferable, and a bladder indwelling catheter having such a structure is used as the lumen 2 of the catheter tube 1. Has an independent balloon inflation lumen 6 (see FIGS. 1 to 3), and the front end side of the balloon inflation lumen 6 communicates with the balloon portion 7. The rear end side of the balloon inflation lumen 6 communicates with the lumen formed in the branched connector portion 9. The balloon portion 7 is inflated by the fluid introduced from the branched connector portion 9 side, whereby the outer diameter of the catheter tube 1 can be increased at that position. The state when the bulge is shown by the dotted line.
When using the catheter of the present invention, the catheter tube 1 is inserted from the urethra into the bladder, and the rear end side of the conductive wire 3 is connected to the positive side of the DC power source and provided on the minor side of the DC power source. In order to obtain a current density that is harmless to the human body by connecting the electrodes to any part of the human body, a voltage of about several volts is generally applied to remove chloride ions from urine accumulated in the bladder. Generates chlorine gas. Then, the chlorine gas generated at the electrode 5 diffuses into the bladder through the opening 4 and an excellent bactericidal effect is obtained. As described above, the electrode 5 in the catheter of the present invention is used as an anode, and since chlorine ions for generating chlorine gas are contained in urine, the operation for sterilizing the inside of the bladder can be performed. Very easy.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
A catheter tube with the internal structure shown in Fig. 1 (outer diameter 7 mm, length 42 cm) was prepared, and two 2 × 5 mm elliptical holes were provided approximately 8 mm from the tip. A conductive wire having a platinum electrode (2 × 5 mm) attached to the tip was inserted into the lumen of the tube to prepare the bladder indwelling catheter of the present invention having the structure shown in FIG.
Then, this indwelling bladder catheter is inserted into the bladder through the urethra, the rear end side of the conductive wire is connected to the positive side of the direct current power source (about 3 V), and the electrode provided on the negative side of the direct current power source is arbitrarily attached to the human body. The power was applied to each part for about 3 to 5 minutes, and the power was applied to the part 2 to 3 times a day. As a result, when electricity is applied using the indwelling bladder catheter of the present invention, chlorine gas is generated from chlorine ions in the urine accumulated in the bladder, and the bladder can be sterilized by the bactericidal action of this chlorine gas. It was
