As shown in FIG. 10, the metal tags 1 used in the automatic marking machine 7 need to be automatically selected from several kinds of arbitrary metal tags 1. Therefore, a plurality of magazines 8 are stored in a stacked state for each kind. Has been done. In the automatic marking machine, stamping is performed for each metal tag, so that the metal tags 1 need to be taken out from the magazine 8 in units of one sheet.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) On the other hand, in the method of manufacturing the metal tag 1 to be taken out, the iron plate is punched into the shape of the metal tag. Therefore, as shown in FIG. A burr 13 may occur due to deterioration of a cutting tool used during punching. Further, the metal tag 1 manufactured by punching is coated with rust preventive oil (not shown) from the viewpoint of rust prevention, laminated, packed, and used after storage.

The metal tag stored in the magazine of the automatic stamping machine is the 12th
As shown in the figure, the metal tags 1 stick to each other due to the influence of the burr 13 and the rust preventive oil, and a plurality of metal tags 1 are taken out when picked up by the suction head 10, so the metal tags 1 drop during transportation. It causes problems such as poor transport and damage of the stamped part due to simultaneous stamping of a plurality of overlapping metal tags 1, resulting in problems such as a reduction in the operating rate of the automatic stamping machine and an increase in repair costs.

Taking out the metal tags one by one in the automatic marking machine shown in FIGS. 10 (a) and 10 (b) is an essential function from the viewpoint of the structure of the apparatus. For this reason, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 13 (a), in the take-out section 9 for taking out the metal tag 1 from the magazine 8, an air cylinder 14 or the like is provided above the suction head 10 and both edges of the metal tag are pressed down. By providing the member 15 and operating the air cylinder 14 in a state in which the metal tag 1 is adsorbed, the metal tag 1 is curved as shown in FIG. A device having a function of separating one metal tag 1 has been devised.

However, even when the device shown in FIGS. 13 (a) and 13 (b) is used, when the metal tag to be engraved is thin or the burr exceeds the thickness of the metal tag, a plurality of metal tags are bent in close contact with each other. Therefore, it is impossible to completely separate a plurality of metal tags.

FIG. 1 (a) is a plan view of the metal tag 1 of the present invention.
FIG. 1B shows a side view of the metal tag 1 of the present invention. This is one in which the convex portions 2-1 are provided at the four corners of the metal tag 1. Here, the convex portion 2-1 provided on the surface of the metal tag 1
In the case of punching the metal tag 1, it is possible to perform the uneven processing at the same time as the punching, by performing the uneven processing in advance on the mold (not shown) for punching the metal tag 1. Since no new step for providing -1 is required, the manufacturing cost does not increase.

As shown in FIG. 2, the position of the convex portion 2-1 is selected so as not to be embossed in order to maintain the clarity of the embossed character 3. At the same time, in consideration of the balance when the metal tag 1 is stored in the stacking magazine of the automatic marking machine, a position symmetrical with respect to the center 4 in the plane direction of the surface of the metal tag is selected. Further, regarding the number of the convex portions 2-1, the convex portions 2-1 are provided at positions where the above-mentioned stamp character 3 is not stamped and which are point symmetrical with respect to the center 4 in the plane direction of the metal tag surface. The number is not limited, but 1 to several are preferable from the viewpoint of appearance.

As shown in FIGS. 3 (a1), (a2), FIG. 3 (b1), and (b2), the shape of the convex portion 2-1 is a cone or a pyramid shape that is thin in the convex direction, and has a convex shape. A concave portion 2-2 having the same shape as the convex portion 2-1 is provided at a position symmetrical to the portion 2-1 in the thickness direction. The conical or pyramidal bottom diameters of the convex portion 2-1 and the concave portion 2-2 are smaller in the concave portion 2-2 than in the convex portion 2-1. It is inevitably provided by subjecting a metal tag having a thickness to concavo-convex processing at the same time as the punching. This recess 2-
The reason for providing 2 is that, as shown in FIG. 4, when the metal tags 1 are stored in the magazine 8 of the automatic stamping machine in a stacked form, the space 16 formed between the metal tags 1 due to the influence of the convex portion 2-1 provided on the metal tag 1 This is to minimize the reduction of the number of magazines 8 stored.

As shown in FIG. 5 (a), even if the convex portion 2-1 provided on the metal tag 1 is convex toward the reading surface 5 side of the embossed character 3, as shown in FIG. 3 may be convex on the back surface 6 side of the reading surface 5 side.

FIG. 6 (a) shows the relationship between the height of the convex portion 2-1 provided on the metal tag 1, the thickness of the metal tag 1 and the frequency of taking out the metal tags 1 in the automatic marking machine for each plurality, which the inventors found out through experiments. Show. Similarly, FIG. 6 (b) shows the size of the convex portion 2-1 (the size of the surface of the metal tag 1) and the frequency of taking out a plurality of sheets, which the inventors found by experiments. From FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b), it can be seen that the effect is great if the height of the convex portion 2-1 is 80% or more of the thickness of the metal tag 1. Further, regarding the size of the convex portion 2-1, it can be seen that there is no difference in effect depending on the size as compared with the height.

(Effect of the Invention) The metal tag of the present invention has the above-mentioned characteristics, and when the metal tags 1 are stored in a stacked state in the magazine 8 of the automatic marking machine as shown in FIG. Since a minimum required space 16 is created by the convex portion 2-1, the metal tags 1 are brought into close contact with each other due to the influence of burrs 13 and rust-preventing oil generated on the metal tag 1, and when the suction head 10 takes them out. There is no possibility that a plurality of metal tags 1 will be taken out, and some of the plurality of taken-out metal tags 1 will fall. Improper transportation or a stamped part due to simultaneous engraving of a plurality of overlapping metal tags 1 It does not cause a failure such as damage to.
