め、外観美にも影響を与えず、かつ耐圧性も変らない。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、次のような顕著な効果
を奏する。 1)管継手のシールリング装着部位の内径又は管継手の
連結具の内径に当接する当接部をシールリング側に形成
することによりシールリングが中心位置に位置決めされ
る。それにより、シールリングの片寄りがなくなり、シ
ール性が向上する。 2)補強部材を内部に設けることにより耐圧性,耐久性
が向上する。 3)シールリングがねじ逃げ部に装着されるものでは前
記当接部として突起部が適用され、該突起部によりシー
ルリングの装着時における中心位置決めが出来ると共
に、挿入時の抵抗が小さく、円滑な挿入、装着が出来
る。 4)リップを形成するものは更にシール性の向上が図れ
る。 5)補強部材は本発明の製造方法により所定位置に正し
く位置決め挿着される。これにより、シールリングの耐
圧性の均一化が図れる。また、製造によって生じた凹孔
はシールリングの機能に影響しない。
