Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a lattice door which is easily cleaned and has a good architectural design by incorporating a lattice into a door frame and by sealing the lattice from opposite sides thereof with a glass plate to prevent the lattice from being exposed, thereby preventing dusts from attaching thereto. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a door frame formed from rails 11 and stiles 12 is covered with a light-transmissible part 2 comprising two light-transmissible boards 22 made of transparent sheet glasses, between which a lattice 21 comprising approximately square sections which is integrally formed from vertical and horizontal metal muntins having narrow width, thereby preventing dusts from getting into the interior thereof. The part 2 may be transparent or semitransparent and may be made of a sheet glass or hard synthetic resin board such as polymethylmethacrylate. And for cleaning, it is only required to clean the surface of the part 2. As a result, good architectural design is provided and a lattice door which is easily cleaned can be obtained.
