【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 スライドホッパー型塗装装置でスライド
面に前後に間隔をおいて開口し、スライド面幅方向に延
びる複数のスリットから塗料を流出させ、スライド面上
で複数の塗料膜を重ね合わせて複層塗料膜とし、スライ
ド面の先端から複層塗料膜を自由落下させて塗料カーテ
ンを形成し、走行している板材の表面に前記塗料カーテ
ンを落下させて板材の表面に複層塗料膜を形成する板材
の塗装方法において、前記スリットから板幅を超える幅
で塗料を流出させ、前記塗料が流出するスリットとは別
のスリットから案内液を前記スライド面上の複層塗料膜
の側縁に接するようにして複層塗料膜の両外側に流出さ
せることを特徴とする板材の塗装方法。
1.
