Abstract

PURPOSE:To solve difficult points of longline such as bulkiness of rope shown when rope is used in a former method because of several ten km length of a longline and remarkable adhesion of dirty things in sea because of unevenness which rope has on the surface. CONSTITUTION:This longline consists of a synthetic resin monofilament having thick diameter to which carbon black is added. An amount of carbon black added is 0.05-2.0wt.% and the synthetic resin monofilament is made of nylon or polyester and the monofilament has at least 2.87 mmphi fineness.
