より、製氷機9等の単位時間当たりの氷雪製造能力をは
るかに超す形で短時間の内に大量の氷雪10Bを製造し

象条件に応じて砕氷機11を選択的に稼働させて任意の

ゲレンデにおける融雪が激しく、該ゲレンデを修復する
のに必要な氷雪の量が多くなる非常時には、製氷手段と
共に砕氷手段を駆動させて氷雪を製造することが出来
る。即ち、製氷手段は製氷してからこれを砕いたり、削
ることによって氷雪を製造するので、その単位時間当た
りの製氷能力は限定されている。それ故短時間の内に製
造すべき氷雪量が多くなると、製氷機では必要な量の氷
雪の製造が間に合わなくなる。これにより、前記非常時
が続くとゲレンデコンディションが悪化した状態が続く
ことになる。しかしながら、ここで製氷手段と共に砕氷
手段も稼働させることにより、こういった不都合が簡単
に解消される。即ち、外部から氷塊状の氷を投入して、
これを砕氷機で削ったり、砕いたりすることによって十
分な氷雪を製造することが出来る。これにより、製氷手
段だけの稼働による氷雪製造能力を遥かに超す形で必要
な氷雪を短時間の内に製造することが出来る。従って、
本発明による散雪設備によれば、ゲレンデに必要とされ
る氷雪供給量に応じて任意の量の氷雪を製造することが
可能となる。従って、本発明の散雪設備の構成によれ
ば、非常時に必要となる最大氷雪供給量に対処し得るよ
うに大型化した製氷機を用いたり、また複数の製氷機を
設ける必要が無くなる。よって、シーズン中の殆どの期
間は十分稼働しないこういった不経済な設備を設けなく
て済む。なお、砕氷手段は製氷能力が必要とされること
が無く、単に塊状の氷を細片化した氷雪に生成すること
が出来るように構成されていれば良いので、その構造は
