する。すなわち、第1図は上送り歯1を備えたオーバー
ロックミシンで、押え足2と前後、上下に揺動する上送
り歯1とがばね4,5により下方に押圧され、針板6の溝
7を通って前後、上下に揺動する下送り歯8に対向して
配置され、針板6上に供給される布(図示せず)をこれ
ら3者で挟持し、上下送り歯の前後揺動により布に送り
作用を与えるようにしている。また、図に現れていない
が、下送り歯は前後に分割して前後差動できるようにう
し、いせ込み縫いやひだ取り縫いなどができるようにし
ている。そしてこれら押え足2と上送り歯1とは、実開
昭60−63174号と同様の押え上げ装置9により上昇して
布の挟持を開放するようにしており、すなわち押え上げ
回動軸10に固定した図示しない押え上げ腕、上送り台上
げ腕12、押え上げ駆動用のアーム13、リンク14、押え上
げレバー15とを備え、この押え上げレバー15はミシン機
枠16に段ねじ17で回動可能に軸支され、常には押え上げ
腕が押え足2に作用しない位置を保つように図の反時計
方向に回動付勢するばね18と、押え上げの主駆動源およ
び補助駆動源に連結するための鎖19とを備えている。図
において20は補助駆動源としての磁石ユニットでミシン
テーブル21に固定されアルミニウム製の枠体22内には第
2図に示す様に移動磁石M1と固定磁石M2とを設置してい
る。そして移動磁石M1は枠体22を上下に貫通する上下動
軸23の中間部に固定され、その上下軸動23の上端は鎖19
を介して押え上げレバー15と連結され、下端は別の鎖34
を介して足踏みペダル24に連結されている。また、固定
磁石M2は中央部に孔25を設けて、上下動軸23を貫通させ
るとともに同じく上下動軸23を貫通させる孔をもつ筒状
の磁石支持体26の上端に固定され、この磁石支持体は外
周にねじ27が設けられ、枠体22の底部に設けたねじ孔28
に高さ調整可能に嵌合し、ナット29により固定される。
なお磁石M1,M2はステンレス製皿状枠30,31内に収容して
磁力線の拡散を防ぎまた固定磁石M2の上面には移動磁石
M1を吸引圧着した時の磁力相互間隔を規制するスペーサ
32を配置している。なお、この実施例において、押え上
げレバー15の鎖19との係合部33の揚程は17mmであり、こ
の係合部33を3.6kgの力で下方に引くと約9mm降下して押
え足2が上昇し、さらに力を加えると係合部33の降下と
ともに上送り歯1が上昇し、全揚程を移動させるには6.
