Abstract

PURPOSE:To markedly simplify the setting of a measurement condition by a method wherein the measurement condition is set while the measurement condition and a corresponding spectrum are indicated on an identical screen by means of a setting and indicating means. CONSTITUTION:When a setting means 32 is switched to a setting mode, the means 32 gives a measurement means 12 an instruction to start the collection of interferogram in a measurement condition at that time. On the other hand, the means 32 also gives a display-control means 34 an instruction so that the means 34 stores spectrum data and measurement condition data in a frame memory 20. As a result, the measurement condition and corresponding non- integrated spectrum data are indicated on an identical screen. When the measurement condition is renewed, new spectrum data is successively obtained. When the searching for optimum measurement condition is finished, means 32 gives the means 34 an instruction so that the spectrum data from a fourier-transform means 16 is supplied to an integration means 18. The means 18 successively renews the integration spectrum data in the memory 20 to indicate it on a screen 22.

2. Description of the Related Art A Fourier transform spectrophotometer capable of obtaining spectral data in a wide wavelength range in a short time is well known. In this Fourier transform spectrophotometer, for example, infrared interference light is applied to the object to be measured, and the interferogram obtained from the reflected light or transmitted light is Fourier-transformed to obtain the desired spectrum data. If Fourier transform is performed on the interferogram to obtain spectrum data, noise may increase. Therefore, it is often the case that a plurality of interferograms are sampled and the results are integrated to obtain spectrum data.

However, the integrating spectrophotometer as described above has a problem that it is very difficult to set measurement conditions. That is, in order to obtain appropriate spectrum data with an integrating spectrophotometer, the resolution, setting of measurement conditions such as apodization or zero filling, and further, the arrangement of the object to be measured must be properly set. I won't. For this reason, the setting of measurement conditions or the preparation of the object to be measured largely depends on the experience and intuition of the measurer, and if the object is a known object to be measured, it is possible to estimate these various conditions from the literature. Although it may be possible, it is necessary to set proper conditions by repeating trial and error in an unknown object to be measured.

On the other hand, in the conventional integrating type spectrophotometer, the setting of the measurement conditions, the spectrum measurement, the integration, and the spectrum output are performed by a series of procedures. There was no change in having to go through this procedure every time, and it was inevitable that complicated operation and time wasted. The present invention has been made in view of the above problems of the prior art, and an object thereof is to provide an integrating spectrophotometer capable of setting appropriate measurement conditions by a simple operation.

In order to achieve the above object, an integrating type spectrophotometer according to the present invention comprises a setting means and a display control means. The setting means has two types of measurement mode and setting mode, and the spectrum measurement condition can be set in the setting mode. Then, in the setting mode, the display control means causes the display means to simultaneously display the measurement condition at that time and the measurement spectrum that is not substantially integrated under the measurement condition.

Since the integrating spectrophotometer according to the present invention is provided with the setting means and the display control means as described above, when the setting means is in the setting mode, the measurement conditions and the substantial integration under the measurement conditions are performed. The spectrum which is not displayed is displayed on the display means. Then, by sequentially changing the measurement conditions, the spectrum corresponding to the measurement conditions is simultaneously displayed accordingly, and the proper measurement conditions can be set extremely easily. When the proper measurement conditions are set, the setting means is switched to the measurement mode, whereby the measurement data is integrated and the spectrum is displayed based on the integration result as in a general integrating spectrophotometer.

The integrating spectrophotometer according to the present invention is constructed as described above, and its operation will be described with reference to FIG. First, when the integrating spectrophotometer 10 is started up, a screen 50 as shown in FIG. 2A appears, and a spectrum “measurement” 52 and a stored spectrum “display” 54 are displayed by a mouse (not shown). select. Then, when “Measure” 52 is selected, the setting means 32 is switched to the setting mode, and the measurement conditions at that time point are displayed in the upper left portion 56 of the screen as shown in FIG. At 58, the current spectrum waveform under the measurement condition is displayed.

That is, when the setting means 32 is switched to the setting mode, the setting means 32 is moved to the measuring means 12.
To give a command to start collection of interferogram according to the measurement conditions at that time. Then, the interferogram data is converted into spectrum data by the Fourier transform means 16 via the storage means 14. On the other hand, the setting means 32 also gives an instruction to the display control means 34, and the display control means 34 stores the spectrum data in a storage area corresponding to the lower right portion 58 of the screen of the frame memory 20 without passing through the integrating means 18. Remember. Further, the display control means 34 obtains the measurement condition data from the setting means 32, and the measurement condition data is stored in a storage area corresponding to the upper left portion 56 of the screen of the frame memory 20.

As a result, as shown in FIG. 2B, the measurement conditions and the spectrum data that has not been integrated corresponding to the measurement conditions can be displayed on the same screen. Then, the setting means 32 obtains new spectrum data sequentially when the measurement condition is changed. Therefore, the measurer changes the measurement condition while gazing on the screen so that the measurement condition is changed in almost real time. The corresponding spectral waveform can be observed. For this reason,
It is possible to easily find the measurement conditions that can obtain the optimum spectrum waveform.

Next, when the search for the optimum measurement conditions is completed,
By continuously clicking the measurement execution key 60 on the setting mode screen with the mouse, continuous measurement and integration of spectra under the measurement conditions are started. That is,
The setting means 32 gives an instruction to the display control means 34 to integrate the spectrum data from the Fourier transform means 16 with the integrating means 18.

Therefore, it is also possible to stop the measurement when the necessary and sufficient spectrum is obtained. Of course, at the time when the preset number of totals is added,
It is also possible to display a spectrum as shown in FIG. As described above, according to the integrating spectrophotometer according to the present embodiment, it is possible to set the optimum measurement condition while confirming both the measurement condition and the spectrum waveform corresponding to the measurement condition on the same screen. It becomes possible and the condition setting is greatly simplified.

In the above-mentioned embodiment, the spectrum waveform is displayed without using the integrating means 18 in the setting mode. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, in the setting mode, the number of integration times of the integrating means 18 is changed. It is also possible to forcibly set it to once. Further, in the above embodiment, the data from the storage means is Fourier-transformed before being sent to the integrating means, but the data from the storage means may be integrated and then Fourier-transformed.
