PURPOSE:To enable a concurrent air conditioning to be carried out at two adjoining rooms by a method wherein both air flow passages connecting a suction port and a blowing-out port of each of right and left segments defined by a partition member within a main body of an air conditioner are provided with a heat exchanger and a cross flow fan. CONSTITUTION:An interior part of a main body 1 is divided into a right segment and a left segment by a partition member 5. Upper front surface parts of the panels 2A and 2B are provided with suction ports 2a, 2b passing air in each of the chambers A and B, and the front lower part of the main body 1 is provided with the blowing-out ports 1a and 1b.
