Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は、チャック装置の改良に関するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
従来から、機体のスピンドル１に穿設したテーパー孔２
に嵌着されるテーパー外周面３を有し、先端にテーパー
嵌合孔４を設けたシャンク５と、テーパー嵌合孔４に嵌
着されるテーパー筒部６を基部に有し、このテーパー筒
部６の途中に回動可能な外筒14を有し、先端にチャック
爪７を内装したチャック体８とを、テーパー嵌合孔４に
テーパー筒部６を嵌着し、シャンク５の先端面と外筒14
の基端面14′とを当接せしめて連結し、チャック体８を
シャンク５側に牽引する牽引機構18を設けた構造のチャ
ック装置が提案されている（本実施例と同一の構成部分
については同一の符号を付した。）。
〔考案が解決しようとする課題〕
しかし、この従来構造の場合にはシャンク５のテーパー
嵌合孔４に塵埃が導入されてしまうという問題がある。
本考案はこの問題点を解決したチャック装置を提供する
ものである。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
添付図面を参照して本考案の要旨を説明する。
機体のスピンドル１に穿設したテーパー孔２に嵌着され
るテーパー外周面３を有し、先端にテーパー嵌合孔４を
設けたシャンク５と、テーパー嵌合孔４に嵌着されるテ
ーパー筒部６を基部に有し、このテーパー筒部６の途中
に回動可能な外筒14を有し、先端にチャック爪７を内装
したチャック体８とを、テーパー嵌合孔４にテーパー筒
部６を嵌着し、シャンク５の先端面と外筒14の基端面1
4′とを当接せしめて連結し、シャンク５の先端面と外
筒14の基端面14′との当接部に環状凹溝17を介してパッ
キン11を配設し、チャック体８をシャンク５側に牽引す
る牽引機構18を設けたことを特徴とするチャック装置に
係るものである。
〔作用〕
シャンク５の先端面と、チャック体８のテーパー筒部６
の途中の外筒14の基端面14′との当接部に環状凹溝17を
介してパッキン11が配設され、且つ牽引機構18によりチ
ャック体８がシャンク５側に牽引されているから、パッ
キン11が押圧されて気密が保たれ、シャンク５の先端面
とチャック体８の外筒14の基端面14′の当接部からテー
パー嵌合孔４内に塵埃が入り込むことが阻止される。特
にパッキン11は環状凹溝17内に嵌入される構成である
為、外筒14を回動させてもパッキン11のシール機能は阻
害されない。
また、牽引機構18によりチャック体８とシャンク５との
連結が堅固になり、両者の緩みは生じない。
〔実施例〕
図面は本考案の一実施例を図示したもので、シャンク５
及びチャック体８は一般的な構造のものを図示してい
る。
また、環状凹溝17はシャンク５の先端面に形成した環状
凹溝９とチャック体８の途中に設けた回動可能な外筒14
の基端面14′に形成した環状凹溝10との二つの溝により
構成した場合である。
図中符号12は牽引機構18としての螺子杆、符号13はテー
パー作用によりチャック爪７を拡縮せしめる回動筒、符
号爪15は鋼球、符号16はチャック爪７によって挾持する
ドリル等の進入を規制する螺子杆である。
また、図面はゴム製のパッキン11を採用した場合であ
る。
〔考案の効果〕
本考案は上述のように構成したから、シャンクのテーパ
ー嵌合孔に塵埃が入り込むことが確実に阻止され、且
つ、チャック体のシャンクに対する連結が堅固になされ
る秀れたチャック装置を提供することになる。

  1. 【請求項１】機体のスピンドル１に穿設したテーパー孔
    ２に嵌着されるテーパー外周面３を有し、先端にテーパ
    ー嵌合孔４を設けたシャンク５と、テーパー嵌合孔４に
    嵌着されるテーパー筒部６を基部に有し、このテーパー
    筒部６の途中に回動可能な外筒14を有し、先端にチャッ
    ク爪７を内装したチャック体８とを、テーパー嵌合孔４
    にテーパー筒部６を嵌着し、シャンク５の先端面と外筒
    14の基端面14′とを当接せしめて連結し、シャンク５の
    先端面と外筒14の基端面14′との当接部に環状凹溝17を
    介してパッキン11を配設し、チャック体８をシャンク５
    側に牽引する牽引機構18を設けたことを特徴とするチャ
    ック装置。
