Abstract

PURPOSE:To preserve commodities left over at the time when they are thrown into a commodity-storing shelf, by a method wherein a preserving case is provided inside the chamber of a main body in which the commodities are cooled or heated and are preserved, and a condensing unit is provided outside the main body. CONSTITUTION:A preserving case 12 for a vending machine is located inside the lower chamber of a main body 1, a condensing unit 13 is provided outside the main body 1, and a compressor 8, a condenser 9 and a motor-driven fan 10 for the condenser are provided in the condensing unit 13. The condensing unit 13 is connected to a cooling unit 11 inside the main body 1, through pipe lines 14. A thermally insulated door 2 is opened and commodities each are thrown into fixed places on a commodity-storing shelf J4, following which the rest of the commodities are stored in the preserving case 12. The thermally insulated door 2 is closed and the storage case 3 is cooled by operating the condensing unit 13 and the cooling unit 11. When the commodities are progressively sold and the remains thereof decrease, the commodity-storing shelf 4 is replenished with the commodities in the preserving case 12.
