Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a range hood structurally smaller without decreasing the trapping efficiency by forming between a guide plate and a hood body a space serving as an inflow passage connecting a suction hole to a fan in a setup to removably attach a filter in the shape of a picture frame to the suction hole. CONSTITUTION:Suction holes 5 are formed at the border of a guide plate 4 of metal attached to the underside of a range hood body 1 in a removable manner by means of fixing fittings 6 which serve also as spacers.
