When placed, the cut end easily pops out of the winding drum 2, causing troubles in the subsequent winding. For this reason, it is necessary to stop the machine once and reset it, and further, in some cases, to cut the end of the wire.
This leads to a loss in product yield due to a loss in time and labor.

A winding drum, which is rotationally driven to wind up a wire rod, in which a winding block and a storage line block below the winding block are integrally rotatable, and a longitudinal opening is made on the outer periphery of the storage line block. An elevating arm for mounting and retracting a storage wire bundle, which is provided so as to be vertically movable along the elevating guide groove so as to keep a constant distance from the winding block of the wire to the storage line block, and an elevating device for elevating the elevating arm. In the pre-take-up type wire rod winding machine, which is arranged between the winding block and the storage line block, and has a cutting device for cutting the wire rod when the storage line bundle of the storage line block reaches a certain amount, The arm is rotatably supported by a supporting plate of the lifting device about a horizontal axis, and when the lifting arm is located at the top of the storage line block, the starting end of the wire is located at the bottom of the wound wire. Tilt the lifting arm to position Storage line posture switching means for switching between a temporary storage line posture and a mounting posture for horizontally projecting from the storage line block is provided, and the storage line posture switching means is fixed to one end of the elevating arm and the elevating guide groove. And a sliding piece slidably contacting the inner wall of the elevating guide groove so that the elevating arm formed on the inner wall of the elevating guide groove is lifted from the inner wall to rotate the other end upward so that the provisional storage line posture is obtained. A wire rod winding machine comprising: a convex step portion for rotating the wire downward.

線材巻取機。2. A winding drum which is rotationally driven so as to wind up a wire rod, and a winding block and a storage line block below the winding block are integrally rotatable, and a vertical opening is formed on an outer periphery of the storage line block. An elevating arm for mounting and retracting a storage wire bundle, which is provided so as to be vertically movable along the elevating guide groove so as to keep a constant distance from the winding block of the wire to the storage line block, and an elevating device for elevating the elevating arm. In the pre-take-up type wire rod winding machine, which is arranged between the winding block and the storage line block, and has a cutting device for cutting the wire rod when the storage line bundle of the storage line block reaches a certain amount, An inclined mounting piece for locating the starting end of the wire rod at the lowermost portion of the wound wire rod is attached to the arm so as to be rotatable around a horizontal axis, and the inclined mounting piece is projected further upward than the elevating arm. There is a tilting means The inclining means includes a short piece fixed to one end of the inclined mounting piece on the winding drum side, and an upper end of an elevation guide groove of the storage line block for rotating the other end of the inclined mounting piece upward. And a contact piece for rotating the short piece downward so as to assume an inclined posture.
