In this type of integrated window air conditioner, the air in the room is cooled by the evaporator and used as cold air, and the moisture in the air that passes through this evaporator is condensed to form drain water, which is guided to the outside of the room. It is discharged by a pump or sprinkled with water to the top of the condenser with a pump or the like, or equipped with a rotating plate on the drain receiver. The motors of the exhaust heat fans facing each other are placed at a high position where there is no influence of drain water.

On the other hand, a partition wall 7b for housing the motor 8 of the fan 4 is formed by extending upward from the lower base 7 of the frame body 5 in which the drain receiving portion 7a is formed, and the motor 8 is housed in the partition wall 7b. A lower surface of the lower base 7 and a bottom surface 7c of the lower base 7 in the partition wall 7b are opposed to each other with a gap B therebetween, and the lower base 7 is placed at an appropriate position on the bottom surface 7c.

Further, if the bottom surface 7c of the lower base 7 is provided with an inclined surface or an inclined groove 7d toward the through hole 9, it is convenient for discharging drain water that has entered the bottom surface 7c portion, and the through hole 9 and the mounting frame are almost the same. If the parallel horizontal shape is adopted, the opening area of the through hole 9 can be made large, and similarly, drainage can be favorably performed.

When the window air conditioner is activated, the refrigerant acts to cool the air with the evaporator and the condenser to dissipate the heat of the refrigerant, and the refrigerant repeats the gasification and liquefaction refrigeration cycles, resulting in high indoor humidity. Then, the evaporator turns into moisture, which collects in the drain receiver at the bottom.

On the other hand, the evaporator has a fan for cooling air and the condenser has a fan for discharging heat. The air in the room is cooled by the evaporator, the moisture is liquefied, and the cool air is returned to the room by the fan for cold air. The condenser sends the outdoor air to the condenser by means of an exhaust heat fan to remove the heat of the condenser and exhaust it.

Then, the drain of the drain receiving part is swelled by the wind, and when the drain water is sprinkled, some drain water may exceed the partition wall and enter the motor storage part.
The drain water flowing into the motor housing portion flows from the clearance B toward the through hole, and is discharged from the through hole through the clearance A on the mounting frame to the outside of the room.

On the other hand, since the gaps A and B are communicated with each other by the through holes, there is an air flow, and the heat from the motor does not stay in the motor housing portion, and has a function of promptly dissipating the generated heat.

Furthermore, since the bottom surface of the lower base in the partition wall is made into an inclined surface,
The drain water that has flowed into the partition wall quickly flows toward the through hole, and the through hole is horizontally elongated, so that the drain water quickly flows into the gap A, and the drain water stays inside the partition wall. Is not recognized.

The present invention has the above-described structure and operation. Since the lower base 7 is provided with the drain receiving portion 7a and the storage chamber for the motor 8 by the partition wall 7b, the drain water flowing down from the evaporator 1 is separated from the partition wall. It does not flow into the storage chamber of the motor 8 inside 7b, but is stored in the drain receiving portion 7a. Even if the drain water overflows the partition wall 7b and enters the storage chamber, a gap B is provided between the lower surface of the motor 8 and the bottom surface 7c of the lower base 7, so that the drain water may stay in the motor 8. Since there is no through hole 9 communicating with the outside of the lower base 7 at a proper place on the bottom surface 7c, the through hole 9 is drained to the outside of the lower base 7, and the through hole 9 is a gap on the mounting frame 6. Since it is in contact with A, the drain water drained is surely discharged to the outside of the room via the outdoor end 6a, so that there is no risk of the motor 8 being submerged by the drain water and causing a failure.

Further, since the through holes 9 communicate with each other through the gaps A and B to allow the outdoor air to ventilate to the motor 8 housing portion formed inside the partition wall 7b, heat is not trapped in the housing portion. The temperature rise can be suppressed.

In addition, the bottom surface 7c of the lower base 7 is provided with an inclined surface or an inclined groove 7d toward the through hole 9, so that there is an advantage that the bottom surface 7c is drained from the through hole 9 without water retention.

Further, if the through hole 9 has a horizontally long shape substantially parallel to the mounting frame 6 as shown in FIG. 3, the opening area of the through hole 9 is large and the drain water outflow surface is also large, so that drain water is drained. It can be done smoothly and there is no need to worry about clogging with dust.
