2. Description of the Related Art As shown in a part of the structure in FIG. 4, a cylindrical casing 3 ... Enclosing an impeller 2 ... The suction port 5 of the impeller 2 is loosely fitted in the center of the part facing the vehicle side plate 4, and the water discharged from the impeller 2 is increased in pressure by the guide vane body 6 having a radially curved flow path. Then, there is a submersible pump which is guided to a pump discharge port (not shown) above or to the suction port 5 of the next impeller 2. Here, 7 is an outer cylinder, and 8 is a liner ring fixed to the casing 3.

The groundwater that floods a well usually contains various particles of sand and clay, which together with the water pass through the pump and the pump pipe during pump operation. However, when the pump is stopped, the sand and clay contained in the water in the pumping pipe and the pump will eventually settle and accumulate at various places in the water supply section of the pump.

However, in the conventional submersible pump having the casing 2 as shown in FIG. 4, sand and clay are likely to settle and accumulate in the space s formed between the impeller 2 and the bottom surface of the casing 3, which causes the impeller to move. The suction port 5 of the wheel 2 is inserted into the clearance c formed by being loosely fitted, so that the impeller 1 is prevented from rotating and the pump cannot be restarted, or the loose fitting is worn. Has been inconvenienced.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention comprises a bottom surface for covering the lower side of an impeller side plate, which constitutes the lower surface of an impeller rotated about the vertical axis, and of this bottom surface. In a casing provided with an opening for loosely fitting a suction port portion of an impeller at a central portion, a recessed space is formed around the opening at a bottom surface position below the impeller side plate, and the recessed space is It is characterized in that a slope portion that gradually increases in the rotation direction of the impeller is provided at an appropriate position around the opening.

[Operation] The sand and clay contained in the pumped water settle down and accumulate on the bottom surface of the casing and so on when the submersible pump is stopped. To prevent its movement to the opening, so that sand or the like is prevented from entering the gap formed in the loosely fitted portion of the suction port of the impeller.

When the impeller is rotated about the vertical axis, the water in the recessed space is also rotated accordingly.
The sloped portion guides the water thus rotated obliquely upward, imparts a rising force to the water, and causes a water flow to flow obliquely upward from the bottom surface of the casing. Therefore, in the recessed space or the bottom surface of the casing. The sand, etc. deposited on the top is moved to the pumped water by this water flow, and thereafter discharged together with the pumped water.

However, the slope portion 3a gradually increases in the rotational direction of the impeller 2 at an appropriate position around the opening of the recessed space m.
Is provided. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1B and 3, the slope 3a has a slope start point p1 to a slope end point p2.
Up to several points in the circumferential direction, but not limited to this, the slope start point p1
There is no problem even if the dimension from the end surface to the slope end point p2 is made relatively long and the number thereof is single or plural.

When the submersible pump according to the present invention having such a structure is operated, the impeller 2 is rotated together with the main shaft 1 between the casing 3 and the guide impeller body 6, and thus the water is free from sand or clay. It is sucked from the suction port provided below the submersible pump in a state where it is contained and reaches the suction port 5 of the impeller 2 before long, and the flow path in the impeller 2 is supplied with energy in the direction of the arrow f1, Then, after reaching the inlet of the guide vane body 6, the pressure is increased in the curved flow path of the vane 6 while flowing in the direction of arrow f2, and further reaches the suction port 5 of the next impeller 2, and after that. While repeating the same operation, the pressure is sequentially increased, reaches the discharge port (not shown), and is fed to the outside. At this time, the sand and clay contained in the water will be carried along with the flow of pumped water.

On the other hand, when the pump is stopped, the flow of water in the pump body and the pumping pipe disappears, so that sand and clay contained in the water inside these are bent in the guide vane body 6 and vanes. It will settle on the inside of the vehicle 2 and the bottom surface of the casing 3. Then, the sand and the like thus settled are accumulated in the curved flow path of the guide blade body 6 and the inner side of the impeller 2 as in the conventional case. However, the sand or the like that has settled toward the bottom surface of the casing 3 flows into the recessed space m and is deposited on the bottom surface thereof, and therefore exceeds the upper end surface of the liner ring 8 to cause the impeller 2 to move. The suction port 5 does not enter the clearance c in the loosely fitted portion.

After that, when the submersible pump is restarted, a flow of water is again generated inside the impeller 2 and the guide vane body 6, and the sand and the like accumulated in these flow paths are regenerated. It is discharged smoothly following the flow. On the other hand, the water in the recessed space m and its surroundings is rotated as the impeller 2 rotates, and the water in the recessed space m is guided to the sloped portion 3a. The water existing below the impeller side plate 4 is caused to flow obliquely upward, so that the sand and the like accumulated in the recessed space m and its periphery are moved into the flow of pumped water by this flow, After that, it will be discharged outside together with the pumping.

As described above, according to the present invention, the sand or clay that has settled on the bottom surface of the casing is deposited in the recessed space to block the movement of the sand or clay inwardly and to prevent the movement of the slope. Due to the action of this part, a water flow is generated diagonally upward in the water below the impeller side plate, and the sand in the recessed space and its surroundings flows out. The conventional inconvenience, which has been caused by entering the gap c at the cut portion, can be eliminated.
