Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a colored product having a durable figure pattern capable of changing the figure pattern or a color thereof in changing illuminating light without deteriorating the properties thereof even after use for a long period. CONSTITUTION:This colored product has a figure pattern obtained by arranging colors in which conditional isochromatic pairs (pairs of greatly metameric colors) of coloring matters having <=1-CIELAB units, preferably under isochromatic conditions or >=3-CIELAB units conditional isochromatic index are used. The isochromatic pairs are obtained by selection from many colored products prepared by matching colors using a change in the combination of colorants or coloring according to a recipe calculated by a computerized color matching method.

2. Description of the Related Art Colored products in which a pattern or its color changes when the observation conditions are changed have been prepared so far by using a phototautomeric colorant. However, the photochromic colorant has poor durability, and has a drawback that the tautomerism almost disappears when the color change and the color restoration are repeated tens of times, and the color hardly changes even when the illumination light is changed. In addition, a thermochromic colorant can be used to make a pattern or color that changes depending on the temperature, but this is not as durable as a photochromic colorant. On the other hand, even if it is made of a normal coloring agent, it is possible to make it look like that the pattern and the color are greatly changed by using the strongly colored illumination light such as red or blue, and the durability can be made without any problem. However, in this case, under the strongly colored illumination light, all the colors become almost the same as the illumination light color, resulting in a monotonous pattern with only a difference in brightness.

As the colorant used in the present invention, commonly used general dyes and pigments can be used. The fastness of the colorant may be sufficient under the conditions in which the colorant is used. As a coloring method, ordinary printing, dyeing, printing, painting, kneading into plastic, or the like can be used. In addition to printing, printing, painting, etc., patterns can be made by methods such as pattern weaving, pattern knitting, quilts and mosaics. Therefore, the method of the present invention can be widely applied to paintings, ceramics, buildings, etc., as well as paper, textiles and plastic products.

It is not always necessary to arrange these condition-matching color pairs adjacent to each other, and it is possible to appropriately place another color between them in accordance with the design of the design. Even when placed next to each other,
It is also possible to blur the vicinity of the boundary so that the color changes continuously.
