Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of a pain even though an earring having a heavy decorative body is worn for a long time by covering earlobe clamping parts of an earring fitting with silicone rubber pads, and by forming a suitable number protrusions on the earlobe contacting surface of each of the silicone rubber pads. CONSTITUTION:Clamping parts 1, 1' of an ear ring is covered with silicone rubber pads 2, 2' adapted to make contact with an earlobe 5 and having its outer surface formed thereon with protrusions. A screwing knob 4 for opening a clamping swingable seat plate 3 which is bifurcate, has a small diameter. Since the clamping swingable seat plate 3 is bifurcate, the stability upon clamping can be enhanced. Further, since the diameter of the screwing knob 4 is small, it is unnoticeable. Thereby, it is possible to provide a pretty design and to enhance the fasionability.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an earring fitting, and more particularly to an improvement of an earring fitting having a silicone rubber pad coated on a sandwiching portion which contacts an earlobe.

2. Description of the Related Art There is known a structure in which a rubber member is attached to a sandwiching portion which comes into contact with an ear lobe as shown in FIG. 1 for the purpose of preventing skin irritation. (See, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 6-13522).

A rubber member has been devised as the earlobe contacting portion of the sandwiching portion. However, when a heavy ornamental body is attached, the rubber portion is not pressed down easily and the earring easily slips off the ear and slips. In order to avoid this, a very strong crimping force is required, and there is a problem that the ear may hurt when worn for a long time.

In the conventional earring fitting, the screwed knob is large and conspicuous, so that there is a drawback that the fashionability is impaired.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention has problems of pain and slipperiness due to the strength of the crimping force against the ears when a heavy ornament main body is attached with a known earring fitting and is worn for a long time. The purpose is to solve the above problem and reduce the diameter of the screw-in knob that opens the sandwiching and swinging part to make the design cute and fashionable.

The earlobe clamp portion of the earring fitting is covered with the silicone rubber pad, and the appropriate number of protrusions provided on the surface of the earlobe contact portion of the silicone rubber pad significantly increase the contact area with the earlobe and increase the friction resistance. In addition, the sandwiching rocking seat is formed into a bifurcated shape to increase the sense of stability during sandwiching.

EXAMPLES Examples of the present invention will be described below.

FIG. 2 is a front view showing an example of an earring fitting which is an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the entire earring fitting.

In both figures, the material of the pads 2 and 2'which come into contact with the earlobe is silicone rubber, and an appropriate number of protrusions are provided on the surface of the earlobe contact portion. The sandwich swing seat 3 has a bifurcated shape, and the diameter of the screw-in knob 4 for opening the sandwich portion is reduced.

As described above, according to the present invention, the earlobe sandwiching portion of the earring fitting is covered with the silicone rubber pad, and a proper number of protrusions are provided on the surface of the earlobe contact portion of the silicone rubber pad to contact the earlobe. Markedly increased and the frictional resistance was increased. As a result, even when a heavy decorative body is attached, it does not slip easily, and since the pad material is silicone rubber, it feels soft and does not feel pain even when worn for a long time.

Further, the sandwiching rocking seat is formed into a bifurcated shape to increase the sense of stability during sandwiching. In addition, since the diameter of the fitting knob that opens the sandwiching part has been reduced, it is inconspicuous, and the design is cute and fashionable.

Claims (4)

[Claims] 1. A sandwich rocking portion having a dish-shaped earlobe holding portion at an end thereof, and a rod-shaped screw having a screwing knob on the outside, and a dish-shaped earlobe contact portion. In an earring fitting comprising a rocking seat having a plate-shaped earlobe holding portion that abuts, there is a space inside the two earlobe holding portions, and the diameter of the opening is smaller than the diameter of the holding portion. A metal fitting for earrings, characterized in that a silicone rubber pad formed into a small size is coated using the elasticity of silicone rubber. 2. The earring fitting according to claim 1, wherein an appropriate number of protrusions are provided on the surface of the earlobe contact portion of the silicone rubber pad. 3. The earring fitting according to claim 1, wherein the sandwiched swing seat has a bifurcated shape. 4. The earring fitting according to claim 1, wherein the diameter of the screw-in knob for opening the sandwiching swinging portion is 2.2 mm or less.
