FIG. 11 shows the state when the solenoid (68) is not driven. At this time, the oscillating plate (65) is urged counterclockwise by the spring (67), so that the protrusion (63) of the first lever (47) is in a positional relationship with the guide plate (66). Then, the first lever (47) is completely stored inside the mounting portion (2) (non-operating position). On the other hand, FIG.
When the solenoid (68) is driven as shown in FIG. 5, the rocking plate (65) rotates clockwise against the urging force of the spring (67), and as a result, the first lever (47) moves the mounting portion (2). )
Stick out (operation position). Thereby, the mounting portion (2) of the slide plate (60) by the first lever (47).
Sliding operation toward the front end becomes easy. Further, the drive of the solenoid (68) is held for a predetermined time, and the guide plate (66) is held substantially parallel to the slide plate (60) during this time. Therefore, as shown in FIG. The 1 lever (47) acts as a posture holding and guiding role.

Further, the action of the oscillating plate (65) includes the action of locking the tray (5). That is, FIG.
When the solenoid (68) is not driven in the set state of the tray (5) as shown in FIG. 11, the notch (23) of the tray (5) as shown by the dashed line in FIG.
In the vicinity of the guide plate (66) of 5), the lock member (70) extends in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface of FIG. 11 and has a sectional shape similar to that of the notch (23). Therefore, FIG.
In the state of 1, the tray (5) is fixed in the set state position. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 12 or FIG.
Since the notch (23) and the lock member (70) are disengaged in the state in which the drive member (8) is driven, the tray (5) can be slid.

In this embodiment, the solenoid (68) is used.
Was driven within a predetermined time after the switch (69) was pressed down. This is because the lock release period between the cutout (23) and the lock member (70) due to an erroneous operation of the switch (69) is shortened as much as possible. This is to prevent the desired tray (5) from sliding. If the undesired slide of the tray (5) occurs during the use of the personal computer, the electrical connection between the personal computer and the extension box (1) will be opened, which will cause a malfunction as described later. On the other hand, after driving the solenoid (68) to press the switch (69), the tray (5) is driven.
It is also possible to configure so that the drive state is not released until is moved from the set state position. However, at this time, the malfunction is prevented by providing a mechanism capable of locking the tray (5) at the set position regardless of the driving of the solenoid (68).

Although the push-out members (48) to (50) project toward the mounting portion (2), the back surface of the sub-PC (12) and the standing wall (3) of the storage portion (4) are separated from each other, and thus the first lever (47) is formed. ) Is operated toward the front end of the placing section (2) to the maximum, the tips of the first to third extruding members (48) to (50) do not directly contact the back surface of the sub-PC (12). However, the extrusion rod (7) of the first and second auxiliary extrusion members (74) (75) located between the sub-PC (12) and the first and second extrusion members (48) (49).
8) (79) is the first and second extruding members (48) (4)
With the projection of 9), the back of the sub PC (12) is projected and the rear surface of the sub PC (12) is pushed out toward the front end of the mounting portion (2). Therefore, as shown in FIG. 18, the second connector (73)
The external connection connector (82) is disconnected, and the tray (5) can be freely slid. still,
The second connector (73) and the external connection connector (82)
When the connection with the sub PC (12) is released (8
Since the connector (82) is located in the center of the first and second auxiliary extruding members (74) and (75), the stress applied to 2) is even and does not damage the pins or the like of the connector.

According to the present invention, relative movement of the function expansion box and the portable electronic device in the insertion / removal direction of the connector can be accurately performed by sliding the tray. At times, it is possible to prevent the pins and the receptor of the connector from being deformed. Further, when the function expansion box and the portable electronic device are connected, the portable electronic device can be fixed on the mounting portion of the function expansion box by the hook means, so that undesired relative movement in the vertical direction is performed. Can be prevented. Furthermore, the hook means automatically inhibits relative movement of the function expansion box and the portable electronic device in the vertical direction only when the function extension box and the portable electronic device are connected together in conjunction with the slide of the tray. Operability is improved because a separate operation for prohibition is unnecessary.
