Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration proofing device for a photoreceptor drum reducing the vibration of a photoreceptor drum by providing a specified cantilever and constituting the cantilever to absorb vibrational energy applied to the drum. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cantilevers 2 having equivalent characteristic frequency to the photoreceptor drum 1 is fixed on a fixed piece 10 provided perpendicular to a center shaft in the center of the inside of the drum 1. The cantilevers 2 are fixed to be symmetric with reference to the center shaft of the drum 1 on the surface side of the fixed piece 10.
