Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reliability of operation by a method wherein a thermostat operated by the temperature of the surface of a compressor container is joined with the outer wall of a cylinder part to contain a bimetal part operated by a current flowing to a compressor to form an overload protecting device, which is adhered to a container surface by using a terminal cover and a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:An overload protecting device 3 is arranged on the outer wall surface of a closed container 4 for a compressor incorporating a motor-driven element in a state to be adhered on the surface of an outer wall. The overload protecting device 3 is formed in such a manner that a thermostat part operated by the temperature of the surface of a compressor container is joined with the outer wall of a cylinder part to contain a bimetal part operated by a current flowing to the compressor. The overload protecting device 3 has a cylinder part the outline of which is formed approximately in a round shape and is formed in a shape wherein a part of an outline is protruded outward, the overload protecting device being adhered to the container 4 through a gasket 6. By securely fastening a terminal cover 1, with which a sealed terminal 7 is also covered, by means of a nut 5, the overload protecting device 3 is fixed through a rubber member 2 having insulating ability.

プリング8が圧縮して、過負荷保護装置9が密閉容器4
に押し付けられる構造である。

であれば上記密閉容器の側壁に固定出来る機構である。
