Abstract

PURPOSE:To have an excellent cushioning function similar to a packing cushioning material using conventional expanded polystyrene or the like as a material, reduce adverse influence to environments in disposal after use and improve the efficiency for packing. CONSTITUTION:An inner bottom plate 15 is connected to a lower end of both side walls 2a, 2b of a parallelopipe 1, and each standing plate 4 is connected to a tip of each inner bottom plate 15 at a distance. A slit from a base to the tip is provided at the center of each bottom plate 15, and an insertion hole 18 connected to the slit is provided at the center of each standing plate 4. An outer bottom plate is connected to a lower end of both side walls 3a, 3b of the parallelopipe 1, and a cushioning plate 5 is connected to a tip of each outer bottom plate. Both ends of each cushioning plate 5 are inserted into the insertion hole 18 through the slit. When each cushioning plate 5 is opened until it is in contact with a periphery of the insertion hole 18, a space for holding a product is formed.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has an inner bottom plate connected to the lower ends of the opposite side walls of a rectangular cylinder, and the inner bottom plates are spaced apart from each other at their tips. The standing plates standing upright are provided in series, each slit is provided at the center of each inner bottom plate and extends from the base end to the tip, and the insertion hole provided at the center of each standing plate is continuously formed. At the lower ends of the opposite end walls of the rectangular tubular body, the outer bottom plates circumscribing each of the inner bottom plates and facing each other are continuously provided, and the buffer plates are continuously provided at the tip of each outer bottom plate through a folding curve, Both ends of each buffer plate are inserted into the insertion holes through the slits, and each buffer plate is brought into contact with the peripheral edge of the insertion hole to form a product holding space between the buffer plates. In the packaging box constructed as described above, the cushioning plates inserted in the box are respectively applied to the peripheral edges of the insertion holes provided in the central portions of both standing plates standing on both sides of the box. When opened until they come into contact with each other, a product holding space is formed between both buffer plates.

When a product is stored in the product holding space, the load of the product causes the buffer plates to come into contact with the periphery of the insertion hole more strongly as they try to spread further outward. As a result, both of the standing plates are pushed down by the respective cushion plates, and the contact state between the inner bottom plate and the outer bottom plate becomes stronger.

Further, it is possible to manufacture a packaging box containing a cushioning material for packaging by using a paperboard such as a corrugated board. Therefore, it is not necessary to use a conventional packaging cushioning material formed of foamed polystyrene or the like as a separate body, and it is possible not only to reduce the adverse effect on the environment at the time of disposal processing after use, but also for packaging work. It is also possible to improve efficiency.
