Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a coin selector with a simple configuration and high convenience utilizing the vibration and rocking of automobile. CONSTITUTION:The coin selector 1 is provided with a gate section 4, an opening section, a tilt tray 2 having a guide 6, and a selector 8 having a regulation plate and selection holes thereunder. A stocker is provided respectively under a selection hole 11, and when solenoid is employed, a rod of the solenoid is operated by the operation of a selection button 20 by providing a couple of an arm and a shutter having a claw at the end of the stocker and operating a selection button 20 to discharge coin 3 one by one. Or, as the other method being a method extracting coins by hand, a couple of shutters having a cut part whose upper part is cut obliquely while being energized inward a spring toward the higher bottom of the stocker side face is provided and a coin is extracted while opening the shutter outward at the outer circumferential part of the coin.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION In view of the above drawbacks, the present invention provides a coin sorter which automatically sorts coins of arbitrary number and type into a tray and stores them in the stocker, and when they are taken out. A pair of arms 16 having claw portions 15 for ejecting coins one by one and a shutter 17 are provided at the lower end of each stocker 14, and a rod 18 for operating the arms 16 and the shutter 17 is provided. A solenoid 19 is provided at the top. The solenoid 19 is activated by operating a push button switch 40 shown in FIG. 7 by operating a selection button 20 of the coin sorter 1.

A pair of arms 16 having the above-mentioned claw portions 15 are axially fixed at a fulcrum p21, are provided along the outer circumference of the second coin 28, and intersect at a crossing portion 22 rotatably in a horizontal direction to a rod 18. A bearing portion 23 that is in sliding contact is formed. Further, the arm 16 is biased toward the center of the rod 18 by two open springs 24, and the claw portion 15 of the arm 16 opens the circumferential portion of the second coin 28.

The shutter 17 is pivoted downward at a fulcrum q25 so that the shutter spring 26 urges the shutter spring 26 from below to abut against the lower end of the stocker 14 so that the first coin 27 and the second coin 28 on the upper surface. The coins in the stocker 14 are held.

Claims (4)

[Claims] 1. An inclined tray having a guide, a gate portion and an opening portion on an upper portion of a coin sorter and inclined toward the gate portion and the opening portion, and a lower surface of the inclined tray adapted to the size of various coins. Coin sorting including a V-shaped selector provided with a plurality of sorting holes and a regulating plate and provided in an inclined manner, and a stocker below the selector for storing coins sorted into respective sizes by the selector vessel. 2. The stocker is provided with a pair of arms for discharging coins one by one, a claw portion and a shutter at the lower end of each stocker, and the arm and the shutter are provided with a solenoid and a rod provided on the solenoid for a coin selector.
