Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve flashing by mounting first and second gaskets which are made of elastic members, respectively, on the inside and outside of reinforcing frames disposed around the four sides of rectangular panels, thus providing a double seal. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing frames 2 are disposed around the four sides of rectangular panels 1 mounted on an exterior wall surface via mounting members, and a first gasket 3 is mounted at the outer edge of the inside of each reinforcing frame 2 via a mounting frame 4. Further, a second gasket 5 made of an elastic member is mounted at the outer edge of the portion of each frame 2 outside the first gasket 3, and the first gaskets 3 have their ends 3b made to abut each other at the adjoining portions of the rectangular panels 1, while the second gaskets 5 are made to overlap. Therefore, the joints between the rectangular panels can be sealed effectively without requiring caulking.
