Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a portable dust collector capable of certainly performing the earth clipping for an electromotive tool, good in operability and having a safe earth terminal by providing a boss composed of a conductive material wherein a earth terminal protrudes from a main body case, a screw hole and a knobbed bolt. CONSTITUTION:The earth terminal 9 of a plug receptacle 8 for an electromotive tool is connected to the earth wire of a three-core power supply cord 4 in a main body case 1 and an earth clip 10 is connected to the earth terminal 14 while the earth clip 3 of a dust collector is connected to the earth terminal 14 of indoor wiring to form a structure enabling earth connection. The large diameter part of the boss 11 composed of a conductive material having a two- stepped columnar shape having large and small diameter parts almost vertically protruding from the main body case l is arranged to the earth terminal on the side of the main body case 1. A screw hole is bored in the boss 11 on the almost center axis thereof and a knobbed bolt 13 having a seat surface is screwed in the screw hole and the length of the fine diameter part of the boss 11 is set so as to be slightly less than the width of the earth clip 10 of the electromotive tool.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an outlet for a power tool, and a portable dust collector for use with a single-phase 100 V power source equipped with a ground terminal of the outlet for the power tool.

2. Description of the Related Art A ground terminal of a conventional portable dust collector will be described with reference to FIGS. According to the present invention, since the knob bolt is screw-fitted to the boss holding the earth clip of the electric tool, when the earth terminal is used, the knob bolt can be rotated as little as possible. A portable dust collector comprising a main body case portion in which an earth terminal and the like of an electric motor and an outlet for an electric tool are internally mounted, and a dust case portion in which a filter is internally mounted and a duct hose is mounted. A portable dust collector comprising a boss made of a conductive material protruding from the main body case, a screw hole formed in the boss, and a bolt with a knob screw-fitted into the screw hole.
