Abstract

PURPOSE:To stir up a drink in a tableware efficiently by arranging ridges radially on the internal surface of a bottom part toward a side wall from almost the center of the internal surface in the tableware comprising the bottom part and the side part. CONSTITUTION:In a tableware 1 which comprises a bottom part 3 and a side wall 4 erected by surrounding the outer circumference of the bottom part 3 and formed in a curved surface so as to be deeper slightly at the central part of the bottom part 3, a plurality of ridges 2 are formed on the internal surface of the bottom part 3 radially toward the side wall 4 from almost the center of the inernal surface. The ridges 2 are each formed with roughly a semicircular cross section and arranged to be extended to a joint part of the bottom part 3 and the side wall 4. In the use, tea is poured into the tableware 1 and as a certain time passes, the powder of the tea settles on the bottom part 3. Under such a condition, when the tableware 1 is turned horizontally, the ridges 2 are turned in the tea relatively to stir up so that the powder of the tea is agitated to spread entirely through the tea, thereby enabling the drinking of the tea being mixed with the powder of the tea.

A tableware comprising a bottom portion and side walls, characterized in that convex ridges are provided on the inner surface of the bottom portion radially from the substantially center of the inner surface toward the side wall. 2. The tableware according to claim 1, wherein the ridge is formed by curving in a horizontal direction.
