Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent three collapsed leg bars from being bulky as much as possible, improve the appearance of a chair formed from expanded three leg bars, and reduce a load transmitted from a weight acting on the seat of the chair to a jointing member for assembling the three leg bars, regarding a chair formed from three leg bars assembled so as to be collapsible and expandable. CONSTITUTION:A chair leg 10 is formed out of three leg bars 11, and a jointing member 12 having three bolt type bars 12a radially laid at equal angular intervals. In addition, the three leg bars 11 are assembled into the bolt type bars 12a of the jointing means 12 in such state as capable of turn, so as to keep the axial lines of the bars 11 approximately parallel.

2b and a nut 102c, the tip end side of the bolt 102b inserted into the mounting hole provided in each of the leg rods 101 ... 101 is attached to the bracket 102.
Is inserted into a mounting hole provided in the bracket 102 and is fastened with the nut 102c to connect the three leg rods 101 ... 101. For this reason, there is a disadvantage that a gap is formed between the three leg rods 101 ... 101 by the diameter of the bracket 102a that constitutes the connecting means 102.

That is, as shown in FIG. 7, the axes of the three leg rods 101 ... 101 are aligned substantially parallel to each other.
When the leg rods 101 ... 101 are folded, a gap corresponding to the diameter of the bracket 102a is generated between the leg rods 101 ... 101, and the legs of the folded chair are unnecessarily bulky by this gap. There was an inconvenience.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the both ends of the three leg rods 101 ... 101 are separated from each other,
Even when the leg rods 101 ... 101 are rotated and opened, a gap corresponding to the diameter of the bracket 102a still occurs, which not only complicates the appearance of the legs of the chair, but also the weight of the seat 200. Is the bolt 102 of the connecting means 102.
Since it is directly added to the portion b, there is a disadvantage that the connecting means 102 is easily damaged.
