However, at the site of harness production, a sharp jig, another small connector, a wire bundle, or the like comes into contact with the contact alignment member, and the contact alignment member is inadvertently changed to the male contact. There is a risk of moving to the rear end portion of the male contact, and it may not be possible to prevent bending of the male contact. Further, since the contact alignment member is housed in the fitting recess of the female connector, there is a problem that it is difficult to return the male contact to its original position when it is moved to the rear end portion.

In the state shown in FIG. 2, the contact aligning member 50 is pushed into contact with the locking member 60. At a harness manufacturing site, a sharp jig, another small connector, a wire bundle, or the like is used as the contact alignment member 50.
May come into contact with and push hard. Contact alignment member 5
When 0 is strongly pressed, the L-shaped leg 56 moves over the protrusion 46 and moves toward the rear end portion of the male contact, so that the bending of the male contact cannot be prevented. But,
In the connector 30 with the contact alignment member, the locking member 6
When 0 is in the temporary locking position shown in FIG. 2, the contacting portion 68 of the locking member 60 contacts the contacting portion 54a of the arm 54 of the contact aligning member 50, and the rear end portion of the male contact. The contact alignment member 50 is reliably prevented from moving in the direction. Therefore, even if the contact alignment member is strongly pressed at the site of harness production, it can be reliably prevented from being inadvertently moved, and the contact alignment member can be prevented from bending.

The state shown in FIG. 3 is a state in which the locking member is moved to the main locking position. In this state, the male contact is locked by the pin locking projection 72 (see FIG. 7) to prevent the male contact from coming off. Further, the groove 70 of the locking member 60 is formed in the arm 54.
The contact aligning member 50 is pushed by the mating with the mating connector and can move toward the rear end portion of the male contact. Further, in this state, since the locking member 60 is prevented from coming off by the arm 54, it does not fall off from the locking member 60 in the fitted state.
