Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a reliable change of direction through simple and inexpensive structure. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 24 is erected in a state to extend through a linearly moving base plate 21 and a support plate 22 the center of which is supported on a rotary shaft 24 and which is rotatable in a horizontal posture. A substance to be conveyed placed on a number of support pieces 25 formed on the support plate 22. A stiffening member arranged along the moving route of the base plate 21 is brought into contact with the guide roller 26 of an operation plate 23 arranged at the lower end of the rotary shaft 24. The support plate 22 is revolved in a given angle arc around the rotary shaft 24 along with the movement of the base plate 21.

2. Description of the Related Art Various types of direction changing devices to be provided on a transfer line have been proposed, but most of them are, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 5-286563, a rotary shaft of a support plate on which an object to be transferred is placed. Is rotated to a predetermined angle position by a motor. However, in such a direction changing device, it is difficult to quickly change the direction of the transported object in a moving state, and a rotary drive motor and a power transmission mechanism are required, so that the structure is complicated and the cost is high.

However, for example, when the fat portion of the thin piece occupies a large area on the front side in the moving direction, the contact plate 33B is rotated inward as shown by the chain line by a drive mechanism (not shown). To be After the guide roller 26 of the carrying table 2 that is pulled by the chain 12 moves away from the guide plate 16 and becomes freely rotatable, the side edge of the inwardly turned contact plate 33B contacts the guide roller 26. Contact. Then,
On the side where the contact plate 33B abuts, the movement of the guide roller 26 in the advancing direction is hindered, so that the operation plate 23 (see FIG. 5) swivels in the clockwise direction as a whole, and the thin piece M is placed accordingly. The support plate 22 also pivots clockwise as shown.

In this way, the operating plate 23 and the supporting plate 22 which rotates together with the operating plate 23 are swung by the abutting plate 33B until the longitudinal direction thereof is oriented in the traveling direction, and the side having a lot of fat and oil is the front side (see FIG. 2). It is positioned on the lower side) and sent to the next folding process. At this time, the operation plate 23, which has finished the direction change, is positioned at the front and rear of the guide roller 26.
However, the posture change is restricted by entering between the narrow parallel guide plates 17.

Contrary to the above, when the fat portion of the thin piece M occupies a large area on the rear side in the moving direction, the contact plate 33A is rotated inward instead of the contact plate 33B. Then, the support plate 22 is turned counterclockwise as shown by the chain line in the figure, and in this case as well, the side with a lot of fat and meat becomes the front side and is sent to the next first folding step.

The middle portion of each compressed air pipe extending downward extends below the support plate 22 of the carrier 2 (FIG. 8) and spreads horizontally horizontally along the carrier 1, and then the carrier 1 of the carrier 1 moves. It is bent at a right angle inward in the width direction, has a substantially U shape in a plan view (FIG. 7), and projects toward the support plate 22. A large number of air blow-out holes (not shown) are provided on the upper peripheral surface at the intermediate portions of the compressed air pipes 43 and 44 inside and outside which project in a similar U-shape and are directed upward from these air blow-out holes. Compressed air is blowing out.

Each of the carts 42 is provided with a folding rod 45 with its base end supported by a projecting portion 421 at the front end (the left end in FIG. 7). The folding rod 45 extends along the intermediate portion of the outer air pipe 44, at a position closer to the support plate 22 than this, and slightly above the thin piece M (FIG. 8) to the rear in the longitudinal direction of the transport conveyor 1. The position of the folding bar 45 is determined according to the output signal from the image processing device which has detected the distribution of the fat and oil portion.

When the thin piece M placed on the support plate 22 reaches the folding rod 45 positioned at a predetermined position, it is located in front of the folding rod 45 (lower side in FIG. 7). When the compressed air is blown from below to the fat portion, the fat portion is blown up around the folding rod 45 and folded on the lean portion. The folding bar 45 is relatively extracted from the thin piece M as the support plate 22 moves. Thus, the thin piece M in which the fat portion extending in the longitudinal direction is folded on the lean portion proceeds to the next second folding step.

However, after the guide roller 26 of the operation plate 22 of the carrier table 2 which has passed the first folding step with the longitudinal direction oriented in the moving direction, the guide roller 26 on the front side is removed from the parallel guide plate 17. Contact the extending portion 181 of the parallel guide plate 18. As a result, the front guide roller 2
6 moves outward along the extending portion 181, and along with this, the operation plate 23 (that is, the support plate 22) is swung counterclockwise as shown by the chain line in the figure, and its longitudinal direction is changed. Change the direction so that it is orthogonal to the moving direction. In this state, both guide rollers 26 of the operation plate 22 come into contact with the outer side surfaces of the parallel guide plate 18, the posture of the support plate 22 is fixed, and the process proceeds to the next folding device 5.

When the thin piece M placed on the support plate 22 of the carrier 2 reaches the front of the folding bar 56 and the compressed air tube 58 thus positioned, the folding bar 56 moves outward from each folding bar 56. The compressed air hits both ends of the thin piece M located. 7D is provided. The transfer cranes 6A and 6B are provided with a pair of suspension devices whose structure will be described below, and move the crane halves in the longitudinal direction of the transfer cranes 6A and 6B, respectively. Then, the left and right suspension devices of the front and rear transfer cranes 6A and 6B alternately operate to transfer the thin pieces on the conveyor 1 to the reversing devices 7A to 7D. As a result, the feeding speed of the conveyor 1 can be made sufficiently high, and relatively small thin pieces immediately after the start of slicing are dispersedly supplied to the trays prepared below the reversing devices 7A to 7D on average. The scooping tool 67 is L-shaped in a side view, and a large number of round bar scooping pieces 672 are provided at intervals in a plow shape in a front view. The spacing between these scooping pieces 672 is substantially equal to the spacing between the support pieces 25 (see FIG. 4) of the carrier table 2,
As shown in FIG. 12, each scooping piece 672 is relatively inserted between the support pieces 25 when the carrying table 2 on which the thin piece M is placed is located near the upper part of the carrying conveyor 1. In this state, when the scooping tool 672 is raised by the drive cylinder 635 as shown by the chain line, the thin piece M on the support piece 25 is scooped by the scooping piece 672. At the time of scooping, since the tip of the scooping piece 672 is inclined upward, the scooping piece 672 comes into contact with the thin piece M from the rear end with respect to the moving direction (arrow in the figure) of the thin piece M, and the thin piece M has wrinkles and the like. It is prevented from occurring.
