Abstract

PURPOSE:To establish a method for processing fabric including the prevention of shrinkage, bacteria, fungi, tick, insect, and also a softening treatment, which can be performed effectively by this method even in a small workshop not equipped with any significantly large facility. CONSTITUTION:A material is cut into a specified contour for a fabric piece to constitute a product of clothing, and the cut fabric 26 is transported while hung on a hanger 28, impregnated in the hung condition with a processing solution sprayed off from a nozzle 30, and subjected to drying process and a heat treatment while being hung. Sewing this fabric piece yields the clothing as a final product.

And spray nozzle
The processing agent is sprayed and sprayed from 30 onto the cut cloth 26. A drain pipe 38 is connected to the inner bottom portion of the processing chamber 10 for collecting the processing agent which is blown out from the blowing nozzle 30 but adheres to the cutting cloth 26 and is not impregnated. In order to spread the treatment agent on the cutting cloth 26 more uniformly, the hanger 28 is rotated around the vertical axis at a low speed, and the cutting cloth 26 suspended on the hanger 28 is rotated once or more. A rotation mechanism for rotating may be provided.

The cut cloth 26 that has been dried in the drying chamber 12 is carried into the heat treatment chamber 14 by the conveyor 22 while being suspended from the hanger 28. And the heat treatment chamber 14
In the inside, the cutting cloth 26 is heated by the hot air at 160 ° C. while moving at a slight speed, whereby the glyoxal resin in the treatment agent impregnated in the cutting cloth 26 causes a cross-linking condensation reaction, and the urethane resin is cut into the cutting cloth 26. The surface of the fibers is softened and melted to form an elastic coating. In this way, the heat treatment imparts shrink resistance and elasticity to the fibers of the cut fabric 26, corrects residual strain inside the fibers, and improves the shrink resistance.
