【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 上面開口の扁平なランプハウス内にU形
蛍光ランプを配置すると共に、ランプハウスの側壁にU
形蛍光ランプの屈曲部を係止するバルブ係止手段を配設
してなり、 前記ランプハウスは少なくとも樹脂で形成されると共
に、前記ランプハウス内に配設されるバルブ係止手段は
前記U形蛍光ランプの屈曲部が載置される受け台と、こ
の受け台に隣接する側壁にランプハウス内に向けて突出
し、かつ屈曲部が係止される係止片とで構成し、それぞ
れランプハウスと一体的に形成したことを特徴とするバ
ックライトユニット。
