Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a self-adhesive tape which can be peeled off without breaking a polyolefin foam substrate sheet by thermally fusing a polyolefin film to the substrate sheet and forming a self-adhesive layer on the polyolefin film. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive layer is formed on a polyolefin film which has been thermally fused to a polyolefin foam substrate sheet. A single-coated self-adhesive tape is produced by thermally fusing the polyolefin film to one side of the substrate sheet, forming the self-adhesive layer on the film by transfer coating or coating, and drying the self-adhesive layer. A double-coated self-adhesive tape is produced by thermally fusing the film to both sides and forming the self-adhesive layer on both sides. A foam sheet with a thickness of 0.2mm to several mm and a foaming ratio of 3-30 is usually used. A pref. polyolefin film is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film with a thickness of 20-100mum.

2. Description of the Related Art A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a synthetic resin foam sheet as a support has various polymer materials such as polyurethane and polyethylene as a support, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer directly transferred onto one or both sides of the support. It is formed by applying, and by utilizing the properties of the foam such as thickness, cushioning property, cushioning property, it is an adhesive tape with excellent creep resistance ("Adhesive Handbook").
Japan Adhesive Industry Association, March 2, 1985, p. 387). This foam adhesive tape has been used mainly for fixing various parts such as side moldings, emblem marks, and fillet protectors for automobiles.

[0005] In many cases, a vinyl chloride resin film is stuck and reinforced on the foam sheet of the support, but such a foam adhesive tape has a vinyl chloride resin film when it is burned. Therefore, there is a problem that the hydrogen chloride gas generated damages the furnace, and it cannot be reused as an energy source by burning and using the heat to generate electricity.

The present invention can be applied to a single-sided adhesive tape or a double-sided adhesive tape. In the case of a single-sided adhesive tape, a polyolefin film is fused and adhered to one surface of a polyolefin foam sheet. In the case of a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, a film is attached to both surfaces of the foam sheet, and then a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on both surfaces of the foam sheet.

The polyolefin film attached to the polyolefin foam sheet reinforces the foam sheet, and biaxially stretched polypropylene film is particularly preferably used. Since the adhesive strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive must be sufficiently endured, the thickness is preferably in the range of 20 to 100 μm. This polyolefin film is firmly attached to the foam sheet by heat fusion.

Conventionally, for manufacturing reasons, there is a foam pressure-sensitive adhesive tape obtained by sticking a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of Japanese paper to a foam sheet. However, this is a layer crack at the portion of the Japanese paper when peeled off. And some of the fibers of the Japanese paper may remain on the adherend together with the adhesive, so that the object of the present invention cannot be achieved.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed by applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive solution on release paper, drying the solution, and then bonding the solution on the polyolefin film, which is a so-called transfer method. When it is thin, it is formed by applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive solution directly on the reinforcing film and drying it. Further, release paper may be overlaid on the adhesive layer.

In the adhesive tape of the present invention, when the adhesive tape is peeled off from the adherend, the polyolefin foam sheet is heat-fused with the polyolefin film of the same quality, so that both are firmly integrated and the foam is Since the sheet is detached from the adherend while being held by the polyolefin film, it can be peeled from the adherend without tearing, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is also peeled together with the polyolefin film and is unlikely to remain on the surface of the adherend.

Further, in the support of the adhesive tape, since the olefin foam sheet of the support and the film for reinforcing the same are made of the same polyolefin, hydrogen chloride gas is not generated during combustion and the furnace is not damaged. .

Next, the adhesive tape of the present invention will be described with reference to examples. As a polyolefin foam sheet,
Polyethylene foam (IFJ200115, manufactured by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd.) having a thickness of 1.15 mm and a foaming ratio of 20 times is used, and a biaxially oriented polypropylene film (OPP # 60, manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.) having a thickness of 60 μm is heated and melted on one side thereof. And the adhesive solution (SKDyne-17
