Conventionally, this film is laminated by overlapping each end of the film to be laminated and laminating the overlapping portions with adhesive tape (see Fig. 12), or by using a double-sided adhesive tape between the overlapping films. It is performed by sandwiching them together (see Fig. 13) or by bonding both films by heat-sealing the overlapping part (see Fig. 14), and all of these operations are manual work. In some cases, it was necessary to shut down the packaging machine.

However, according to the pasting of the film with the conventional adhesive tape, the connecting part becomes thick because the films overlap each other, which not only hinders the feeding of the film but is also difficult to use in many cases. There was a problem that the adhesive surface of the product was easily peeled off.

In the present invention having the above configuration, when the remaining amount of the film roll in use is detected and reaches a predetermined amount, it is fed out at a speed faster than the normal use amount and the remaining amount is stocked in the stock box, and then the film end is detected. Part detects the end of the film roll, feeds this film, sends the end to a cutter and cuts it for edge alignment, and further feeds the cut film end of the auxiliary guide for connection of the film connection part. Send to the end detector and stop. Next, a spare film roll (the end of the spare film roll is usually cut to match the angle of the cutter) is sent to the connection auxiliary guide to the new film leading edge detection unit, and this film leading edge is sent first. Stop by abutting the end of the film provided.

Now, to explain the film connection, the remaining film amount (about 10 m) of the used film roll 2-1 is detected by the remaining film roll detector 7-1, and the feeding roller 4 doubles the normal speed. The film 13-1 is stocked in the stock box 6 at about the above speed (about 20 m / min). Then, the end of the film 13-1 to be fed out is detected by the film end detecting section 8-1 to detect the pinch roller 9-1.
To nip the film 13-1 and align the edges of the film 13-1 with 90 in the longitudinal direction of the film 13-1.
After cutting with the cutter 10, the feeding roller 4 is slowed down and the cut end is fed to the feeding film end detecting portion 14 of the auxiliary connecting guide 11 of the film connecting portion A and stopped (see FIGS. 3 and 4). ). At this time, the film remaining after cutting is discharged by reversing the pinch roller 9-1.

On the other hand, in the adhesive tape device head 12 of the film connecting portion A, the adhesive tape 17 that is cut in advance to a certain size slightly longer than the width of the film is used as the adhesive surface outside and the back surface is a suction port.
It has been sucked up by the vacuum generated at 19 (see Fig. 7), and this adhesive tape device head 12 is rotated 180 ° and the adhesive tape 1
The adhesive surface of 7 is opposed to the abutting surface of the end of the film 13-1 and the tip of the film 13-2, and the auxiliary connection guide 11 is moved horizontally (it is convenient if the adhesive tape device head 12 can also be moved horizontally). By repeatedly pressing the film abutting surface against the adhesive tape 17, the adhesive tape 17 is pressure-bonded to the abutting surface (see FIG. 8).

Then, apart from the auxiliary guide 11 for connection, since the film butt surface is pressure-bonded to the adhesive tape 17 adsorbed to the adhesive tape device head 12, the folding cylinders 20-1, 20- at both ends of the adhesive tape device head 12. 2 is operated to move the folding rollers 21-1 and 21-2 so that both ends of the adhesive tape 17 are folded to the other surface of the film (see FIG. 9), and the auxiliary connecting guide 11 and the adhesive tape device head 12 are again provided. And press the end of the adhesive tape to the other side of the film to complete the connection of the film (see Fig. 10).
It becomes like the figure.

A stock box 6 is provided at the connection part of such a film.
Since it is possible to use the film stocked in the film, it is possible to use the film 13-2 of the spare roll 2-2 after the connection is completed without interrupting the feeding of the film for the connection.
Is used for feeding. Then, when the remaining amount of the spare film roll 2-2 becomes small, the connection as described above is repeated, and the film roll 2-1 and the spare film roll 2-2 are alternately used. Further, when the connecting auxiliary guide 11 and the adhesive tape device head 12 are separated from each other, the folding rollers 21-1 and 21-2 fold the extra length portions on both sides of the adhesive tape 17 to the other surface of the film abutting portion to attach the adhesive tape ( (See FIG. 9), and thereafter, the connecting auxiliary guide 11 and the adhesive tape device head 12 perform the pressure contact action again (see FIG. 10), so that both side edges of the adhesive tape 17 may protrude from the side edges of the film. It is possible to prevent any trouble in feeding or using the film.
Furthermore, it can be expected that the both ends of the adhesive tape are surely pressure-bonded to the other surface, thereby strongly strengthening the film connection.

[Effects of the Invention] According to the present invention as described above, when the remaining amount of the film roll in use becomes small, a certain amount of the film is stocked so that it can be paid out to the payout part. It can be continuously and smoothly delivered, and work efficiency can be improved and automation can be realized.
Further, since the films are taped in a butt-to-face condition, it is possible to maintain the film thickness to a constant value with almost no change. Moreover, since the tape extra length portion at the side edge of the film abutting portion is folded inward and adhered, curling and the like can be prevented even with a thick film,
It is possible to surely prevent the film from being unrolled or used, and it is possible to remarkably strengthen the connection of the film. Further, unlike the conventional heat seal, the adhesive surface is not peeled off at all, and the film connection can be easily automated and the working efficiency can be extremely improved, which is a particular effect.
