BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for winding a sheet-like material such as a plastic film or paper, and more particularly, when the sheet-like material is wound on a core in a roll shape, the sheet-like material previously wound. The present invention relates to a method for winding a sheet-like material, in which another sheet-like material of the same type is continuously wound on the upper surface of the sheet.

2. Description of the Related Art When a continuously produced sheet material such as a plastic film or paper is wound on a core in a roll shape for a predetermined length, the sheet material previously wound on the core and having a length less than the predetermined length is wound. Another sheet-like material of the same type is spliced onto the above, and the spliced sheet-like material is continuously wound into a roll shape until the total length of the sheet-like material wound on the core reaches a target predetermined length. The taking method is often adopted. For example, in the case where a plastic film is continuously formed into a film, the film is once wound as an intermediate product, the intermediate product is unwound, and the film product cut into a predetermined width is wound onto the core, a film forming stretching step. The intermediate product may not reach the target predetermined length due to film breakage, etc., but the intermediate product is cut into a predetermined width as described above,
After winding in a roll on the core, the starting end of the next intermediate product is spliced to the winding end of the previously wound film, and the rewinding film from the connected intermediate product is continued until the specified length is reached. The method of winding in a roll is adopted.

[0003] For joining such sheet-like materials, normally,
Adhesive tape is used. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, a commercially available adhesive tape winding 1 having one adhesive side 2 is used, and a required length from the adhesive tape winding 1 (usually the same width as the width of the sheet-like material to be spliced) is used. Adhesive tape 3
Is cut, and the cut adhesive tape 3 is used for joining the sheet-like materials as described above. The final form of the roll-shaped product of the sheet-like material joined by the adhesive tape 3 in this way is as shown in FIG. 4, for example. In other words, the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 3 is present at a position where the rolled product 4 has a winding layer (there may be a plurality of locations), and the sheet-like material is continuously wound on the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 3.

However, there are the following problems in joining such sheet-like materials.
As shown in FIG. 5, the adhesive surface 2 of the adhesive tape 3 to be used has adhesive adhered over substantially the entire surface thereof. Due to the pressing force (tightening force) of the rolled-up sheet-like material, the glue sticks out from the adhesive tape 3 in the width direction of the adhesive tape 3, and the glue that sticks out to the sheet-like material rolled up on the joint is There is a problem of adhesion. The glue that sticks out adheres the surfaces of the sheet-like material forming the inner layer and the winding layer on the outer layer side to each other. Therefore, when the roll-shaped product 4 is rewound in the secondary processing, for example,
Since the adhered sheet-shaped materials are forcibly separated from each other, the sheet-shaped material is broken. Further, the above-mentioned squeeze-out of the glue occurs more remarkably when the wound roll-shaped product 4 is subsequently subjected to heat treatment.

The present invention focuses on the above problems,
In the method of continuously winding the sheet-like materials together, by joining the sheet-like materials together without relying on the adhesive tape, the problem of adhesive sticking out of the adhesive tape is essentially eliminated, and troubles due to the adhesive sticking out occur. The purpose of this is to prevent and secure smooth rewinding of the roll-shaped sheet material in secondary processing and the like.

In order to achieve this object, a method of winding a sheet-like material of the present invention is a method of winding a sheet-like material on a core in a roll shape, and the winding end of the sheet-like material is made of another material of the same kind. In the winding method of the sheet-like material, the starting end of the sheet-like material is joined with a tape, and the joined sheet-like material is continuously wound on the previously wound sheet-like material in a roll shape, wherein the tape is Using a tape made of a material having a melting point lower than the melting point of the sheet-like material, and heat-sealing the tape with the winding end of the sheet-like material and the starting end of the sheet-like material The end and the starting end are joined via a tape, and the joined sheet-like material is wound up into a roll.

In such a method of winding a sheet-like material, a tape having a melting point lower than that of the sheet-like material is used and the tapes are heat-sealed to bond the sheet-like materials together. Since it is heat fusion, an adhesive is not necessary, and the problems associated with conventional glue squeeze are essentially eliminated. In addition, since the melting point of the tape is lower than the melting point of the sheet-shaped material, the sheet-shaped material does not melt during the heat-sealing, and only the tape is melted by the amount necessary for the heat-sealing to form the sheet-shaped material. Provides the desired bonding without adverse effects.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT A preferred embodiment of the method for winding a sheet-like material according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings in the case of a plastic film. 1 and 2 show a method according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 11 is a plastic film as a sheet,
For example, a polyester film is shown, and the film 11 is wound on a core 12 in a roll shape. When the winding length of the film 11 is less than the predetermined length, as shown in FIG. 1, the winding end 11a of the film 11 that is less than the predetermined length is joined to the starting end 13a of another film 13 of the same kind.
However, they are spliced via the tape 14. Film that was succeeded 1

As the tape 14, a tape made of a plastic film having a melting point lower than that of the film 11 is used. When the film 11 is a polyester film, for example, a polyolefin film (for example, polypropylene film) is used as the tape 14. The tape 14 is a mere film tape and is not provided with adhesive glue or the like.

The tape 14 is used to join the winding end 11a of the film 11 and the starting end 13a of the film 13 as shown in FIG. The winding end 11a and the starting end 13a are butted against each other as shown in the figure, and the tape 14 is brought into contact with one surface side of the butted portion, and the surface of the tape 14 opposite to the abutting surface has appropriate heat resistance. Place it on the table or backing plate, from the side opposite to the tape 14 of the film,
For example, the iron 15 applies heat sequentially along the longitudinal direction of the tape 14. At this time, the set temperature of the iron 15 is set to the melting point of the tape 14 or more and the melting point of the film 11 or less.

By this heating, the winding end 11a of the film 11 and the starting end 13a of the film 13 are not melted, but the pressure-bonded surface of the tape 14 is melted, and the pressing force of the iron 15 is used to take up the winding end 11a and the winding end 11a. Starting point 13a
And the tape 14 are heat-sealed. Since the iron 15 is sequentially moved along the longitudinal direction of the tape 14, the heat-sealed tape 14 is sequentially cooled and solidified, and the tape 14 is not melted more than necessary.

[0013] In this heat fusion, there is essentially no problem of squeeze out of glue as in the case of using an adhesive tape. Further, since there is a difference in melting point between the film 11 and the tape 14, the winding end 11a of the film 11 and the starting end 13 of the film 13
There is no adverse effect (for example, thermal deformation) of a on heating. Further, since the joining is performed by heat fusion, an extremely large joining strength can be obtained.

As described above, according to the winding method of the sheet-like material of the present invention, the tape-like material having a melting point lower than that of the sheet-like material is used to join the sheet-like materials by heat fusion. Therefore, the problem of adhesive squeezing out from the tape at the splicing part has been eliminated from the beginning, and it is possible to prevent problems such as the secondary processing that occurs with the conventional adhesive squeeze out of adhesive tape, as well as strengthening by heat fusion. It is possible to realize various joining, and it is possible to join the sheet-like objects together without causing trouble.
