BACKGROUND ART A conventional discharge lamp ballast of this type is shown in FIG. That is, in this discharge lamp ballast, a main body 32 formed by winding the iron core 30 with the winding 31 is attached to the case 33. in this case,
The main body 32 has winding terminals 34, 35 protruding from the case insertion side for connecting the lamp filament. In addition, a plurality of wire insertion holes are formed in the wall plate 37 that is on the back side of the opening 36 for inserting the main body of the case 33.
A bushing 40 having 38, 39 is provided. Then, the lead wires 41, 42 are passed through the wire insertion holes 38, 39 of the bushing 40, and the ends thereof are connected to the winding terminals 34, 35.

However, in this discharge lamp ballast, in order to prevent the winding terminals 34, 35 from coming into contact with the wall plate 37 of the case 33 when the main body 32 is inserted into the case 33, it is necessary to provide a separating member or the like on the case 33. Therefore, there is a drawback that the number of parts increases. In addition, there is a drawback in that the impact when the main body 32 collides with the separating member or the like is applied to the winding terminals 34 and 35, and the lead wires 41 and 42 come off and the connection is defective. Further, pulling the lead wires 41 and 42 also causes a problem such as disconnection from the winding terminals 34 and 35.

According to this invention, the twisted portion of the lead wire is located between the wall of the case and the winding terminal to prevent the winding terminal from contacting the wall of the case. The securing can be achieved very easily, the separating member for securing the insulation is not required, the number of parts can be reduced, and the cost can be reduced. Further, since the twisted portion serves as positioning when the body is inserted and no impact is applied to the winding terminal, it is possible to prevent a connection failure or the like from occurring and to strengthen the lead wire tension. Furthermore, the tension can be strengthened and the insulation distance level can be easily adjusted by selecting the number of twists and the type of lead wire. In addition, when inserting the main body into the case, connect the lead wire and the winding terminal before forming the twisted part, or at the time of connection, make it easy to connect with the twisted part not disturbing the connection work. When the main body is inserted into the case, the main body can be easily inserted into the case while pulling the lead wire inserted through the wire insertion hole, and the twisted portion is automatically positioned immediately before the terminal by the insertion, which facilitates the assembly. Further, as compared with the case where a knot is formed on the twisted portion, the knot requires more labor to manufacture and is difficult to automate, but twisting is extremely easy and automation is easy. Further, in the case of a knot, it is almost difficult to automate the electrical connection of the lead wires, but in the case of a twisted portion, the automation is easy by twisting after the electrical connection. In addition, for ballasts, etc., it is necessary to make a specified connection by comparing each lead wire on the high-voltage side and the low-voltage side with the external lead wire for electrical characteristics inspection, but if the two wires are the same color, the polarity is specified if there is a knot While connection becomes extremely difficult,
Designated wiring is easy at the twisted portion.

Embodiment An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. That is, in this discharge lamp ballast, the main body 3 formed by winding the iron core 1 with the winding wire 2 is inserted into the case 4. in this case,
The main body 3 has winding terminals 5 and 6 for connecting the lamp filament projectingly provided on the case insertion side of the winding 2 in the axial direction, and the other winding terminals (not shown) are provided on the opposite side. Further, the case 4 has a bottomed cylindrical shape having an opening 7 for inserting the main body at one end, and a hole 8a is formed in the wall plate 8 located on the back side to form the wire insertion hole 9,
A bushing 11 having 10 is attached. And wire diameter 1
The lead wires 12 and 13 of about φ are respectively passed through the wire insertion holes 9 and 10 of the bushing 11, and the ends thereof are twisted with each other to form a twisted portion 14, and the end of the twisted portion 14 is wound terminal 5, 6
Connected to. In addition, the main body 3 is fixed to the case 4 by press fitting, or is separately fixed using a fixing means.

In the assembly of this discharge lamp ballast, the lead wires 12 and 13 are previously passed through the wire insertion holes 9 and 10 and the twisted portion 14 is formed to form the winding terminal 5,
It is connected to 6, and when the main body 3 is inserted into the case 4, the lead wires 12 and 13 are pulled from the outside of the case 4 so that the main body 3 is inserted and fixed in the case 4. At this time,
On the case insertion side of the main body 3, the end of the twisted portion 14 comes into contact with the inner surface of the wall plate 8 of the case 4, and the entry of the main body 3 is stopped. Therefore, the winding terminals 5 and 6 do not come into contact with the wall plate 8 without providing a conventional separating member or the like on the wall plate 8, and the number of parts is reduced. Further, since the twisted portion 14 comes into contact with the wall plate 8, no impact force is applied to the winding terminals 5 and 6, so that there is no poor connection or disconnection of the lead wires 12 and 13, and the twisted portion 1
The connection between the lead wires 12 and 13 is strong against pulling due to 4, so that a connection failure or the like can be prevented.
