[Industrial applications]

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is applied to an electronic device housing having a display means, such as an electronic sphygmomanometer housing for electronic equipment having a display means for making numbers, characters, or figures displayed by the display means more visible to a user. The present invention relates to a suitable housing.

【0002】[0002]

[Prior art]

Electronic devices such as an electronic sphygmomanometer are provided with display means for displaying the measured maximum blood pressure value, minimum blood pressure value, and pulse. In the conventional electronic sphygmomanometer, although the display means is arranged on the surface most easily seen by the user who is also the subject, the display means is smaller than the case of the sphygmomanometer housing and the numbers, etc. Was small, and the display means were arranged on one side of the housing. Moreover, the height of the housing was relatively high.

【0003】[0003]

[Problems to be solved by the device]

The main users of electric sphygmomanometers are elderly people, and many have poor eyesight. Therefore, the conventional device has a problem that the numbers displayed on the display means are small and difficult to see. In addition, even if the number displayed on the display means is simply increased, it may not be possible to use an oil or the like for operation due to the position in the housing where the display means is provided or the relationship between the display means and the housing. It is not always easy to see because the numbers are covered. Furthermore, since the housing is relatively high, there is a problem that the housing does not have a sufficient sense of stability during operation and it is easy for the elderly user to feel anxiety such as falling.

It is well known that the blood pressure value is greatly affected by emotions and the like. As an electronic sphygmomanometer that measures such values, it is important to minimize the mental load on the user who is also the subject.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a housing for an electronic device having a display unit that has high visibility and high stability of numbers displayed on the display unit. With the goal.

【0006】[0006]

[Means for Solving the Problems]

In order to achieve such an object, a housing for an electronic device having a display means of the present invention is formed into a substantially triangular shape which is flat when viewed from the side, and the upper plane has a lower gentle slope on the front side. A large and long front-rear window is formed in the center of the upper plane member of the upper case member forming the upper plane so as to be visible through the window or inserted into the window and large in the front-rear direction. And a transparent cover is provided on the upper case member so as to largely cover the display means and the peripheral portion of the window, and the rear surface of the transparent cover is opaque except for the large transparent portion facing the display means. A layer is provided, and an explanatory display of numbers, characters, or figures displayed on the display means is written in an opaque portion near the periphery of the transparent portion.

Further, an adhesive member or an adhesive may be disposed between the transparent cover and the upper case member so as to surround the window.

In addition, the surface of the transparent cover may be configured so as to be raised from the upper plane of the upper case member with a step.

【0009】[0009]

[Work]

Since the display means that is large and long in the front-rear direction is installed in the center of the upper plane of the low slope that is low on the front side, the numbers displayed on the display means can be made large. High visibility even for users with weak eyesight. Moreover, the housing is a flat triangle when viewed from the side, and the height is relatively low, giving a sense of stability.

Further, if an adhesive member or an adhesive agent is disposed so as to surround the window between the transparent cover and the upper case member that largely covers the display unit and the upper case member around the display unit, these adhesive members and the like can be used for transparency. The gap between the cover and the upper case is closed, and dust or the like does not enter the housing and the display means through the large window.

Further, if the surface of the transparent cover is constructed so as to be raised from the upper plane with a step, the numbers and the like displayed on the display means covered by the transparent cover will be lifted, and it will be easier to see.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is an external perspective view of an electronic sphygmomanometer to which an electronic device casing having display means of the present invention is applied, and FIG. 2 is a top plan front view of the electronic sphygmomanometer shown in FIG. 3 is a side view of the electronic sphygmomanometer shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the electronic sphygmomanometer shown in FIG.

In the figure, the casing 10 is composed of a lower case member 12 and an upper case member 14 made of resin, and is rounded as a whole. The lower case member 12 has a substantially square shape with rounded corners when viewed from a plane, has a substantially flat triangular shape when viewed from a side surface, and has an opening edge 12a having a low slope on the front side. The upper case member 14 is flat when viewed from the side and formed so as to cover and close the opening edge 12a, and the surface of the upper case member 14 constitutes the upper flat surface of the housing 10. The lower case member 12 and the upper case member 14 are configured so that they can be appropriately engaged with each other by meshing a concave portion and a convex portion (not shown) provided at the opening edge 12a.

Further, a large vertically elongated window 16 is bored in the center of the upper case member 14, that is, the center of the upper plane of the housing 10. For example, if the dimensions of the upper plane of the upper case member 14 are approximately 140 mm × 130 mm in the horizontal and vertical directions, the dimensions of the window 16 are approximately 40 mm × 50 mm in the horizontal and vertical directions. On the outer surface of the upper case member 14, a slightly circular stepped portion 18 having a substantially circular shape (a substantially heart shape with a substantially flat upper side) is formed around the window 16 in the peripheral portion of the window 16.

Further, an upper transparent cover 20 made of a transparent material such as acrylic that fits into the recess of the step portion 18 covers the window 16, the step portion 18 and the display means 28 on the upper case member 14. Are arranged as follows. A part of the front side of the step portion 18 is separated from the peripheral portion by the groove 35 and a switch cover 36 is supported by the support pieces 37, 37 so as to be elastically displaceable in the peripheral portion. Then, the switch cover 36 is covered with the lower transparent cover 22 as a pressing piece. The movement of the lower transparent cover 22 due to pressing is restricted by the stopper 38 provided at the edge of the step portion 18. A push button switch is appropriately incorporated under the switch cover 36. Further, the upper and lower transparent covers 20 and 22 are thicker than the concave portion of the step portion 18 and are raised with a step from the surface of the upper case member 14 and have rounded peripheral portions. Further, an opaque layer 26 is provided on the back surfaces of the upper and lower transparent covers 20 and 22 except for the large transparent portion 24 facing the window 16, and will be described later on the opaque layer 26 so as to be visible from the outer peripheral surface. There are provided explanatory displays 32, 32, ... For explaining the maximum blood pressure value, the minimum blood pressure value displayed on the display means 28, the numerical value such as the pulse, and the display 30 such as a graphic showing whether or not the measurement is currently being performed. Has been. For example, the opaque layer 26 is a dark gray, and the explanation display 32, 32 ... Is drawn in white with this dark gray as a scene. The housing 10 is white. Here, when the upper transparent cover 20 is assembled to the step portion 18, an adhesive 34 or an adhesive member such as a double-sided tape is arranged around the window 16 in the step portion 18, and an airtight structure is formed by the adhesive 34 after the assembly. At the very least, the gap between the upper transparent cover 20 and the step portion 18 is closed to prevent dust and the like from entering the housing 10 through the window 16.

In addition, a mechanism and a circuit component (not shown) for constructing the electronic blood pressure monitor are appropriately arranged in the housing 10, but the measurement results and the like are inserted inside the window 16 or in the window 16. Display means 28 including an LED or the like for displaying is attached. Here, after the blood pressure measurement, the maximum blood pressure value and the minimum blood pressure value by a large number and the display 30 of the pulse rate per minute and the like by a number slightly smaller than this are displayed on the display means 28 at the same time in the front-back direction. It Further, next to the display 30 showing the pulse rate, a graphic display 30 in which a doctor designs a graphic using an earphone is displayed during measurement. The display means 28 displays the display 30 such as measurement numbers and figures in black on a light gray background.

In such a configuration, the housing 10 is flat and short, and has an extremely stable posture. Further, the thickness on the front side is relatively thin, which makes it extremely easy to grip. Then, since the measurement result is displayed in large numbers in the center of the low, gentle slope on the near side, it is extremely easy to see due to the display angle and display dimensions, and even if it is a senior with low eyesight, it is easy to read the numerical value. Can be read. Since the displays 30, such as the maximum blood pressure value, the minimum blood pressure value, and the pulse, are displayed vertically side by side at the same time, these numbers can be read at one time. In addition, the upper transparent cover 20 allows the display 30 such as the numbers displayed on the display means 28 to be visually recognized as if they are floating, giving the user a feeling of being easy to see. Further, due to the dark gray of the opaque layer 26 of the upper transparent cover 20, the light gray of the ground of the display means 28 and the black color arrangement of the display 30, there is no strong irritation to the eyes of the user, and moreover, numbers such as numbers are not displayed. The display 30 is clear. Furthermore, since the housing 10 is rounded and has an extremely stable posture, many users including the elderly can feel a sense of stability and a sense of security. Optimal. In particular, the comfort experienced by the user will be significantly different compared to a tall or angled sphygmomanometer. Further, since the window 16 formed in the upper case member 14 and its peripheral portion are largely covered with the upper transparent cover 20, the invasion of dust and the like into the housing 10 and the display unit 28 is prevented. Then, by disposing the adhesive 32 surrounding the window 16 to close the gap between the upper transparent cover 20 and the upper case member 14 to form an airtight structure, it is possible to surely prevent dust from entering. it can.

Although the case 10 according to the present invention is applied to the electronic sphygmomanometer in the above description of the embodiments, the present invention is not limited to this, and may be applied to other electronic devices having the display means 28. Of course. Further, the display means 28 is not limited to the LED.
