2. Description of the Related Art In a conventional laser knife and laser processing machine as shown in FIG. 6, a small-diameter optical fiber cable 2 having excellent operability for guiding laser light with a device 1 equipped with a laser oscillator
Are using. With this, for example, a laser knife, an optical fiber cable 2 with a small diameter and excellent flexibility
It has been noted that the handpiece part 3 is inserted into the body using an endoscope or a rigid endoscope to treat the affected part without opening the blade. This optical fiber is being used using a material such as quartz, AgCl, or CsBr that can transmit a power laser.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention When inserting the optical fiber cable 2 as shown in FIG. 7 into the body and irradiating the affected area with laser light to cause evaporation, a laser is applied so that normal tissue behind the affected area is not irradiated with laser light. There is a structure with a protective plate that shields light, but the tissue may be burned because the affected area evaporates on the protective plate, and the protective plate is fixed to the surrounding tissues, making it impossible to work become. Further, when the affected part on the protective plate is evaporated and disappears, the protective plate may be irradiated with laser light and reflected, so that the reflected light may damage normal tissues in other parts.

Action The action of this technical means is as follows. That is, when a protective plate is inserted between the affected part and normal tissue and irradiated with laser light, the protective plate is a composite of a non-adhesive material (such as Teflon), so that the affected part tissue is not burned and is securely You can work. Further, since the surface is a composite of Teflon, even if the laser light is applied to the protective plate, its reflectance is low, and normal tissue is not damaged by the reflected light. Furthermore, since the heat conduction is poor, the temperature rise on the back surface of the protective plate is low, so there is no damage due to the high temperature of normal tissue, and it is safe. or,
By bending the protective plate with a predetermined radius, the reflected light spreads the luminous flux and the power density becomes lower, making it safer.
Further, since the diseased tissue abuts only on both sides of the curved protective plate and does not contact the central portion, seizure of the diseased tissue is further reduced.

Embodiment A handpiece portion 3 of an optical fiber cable 2 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The emission end of the handpiece portion 3 is composed of an optical fiber 4, a protective tube 5, an optical component (lens or window) 6 that transmits laser light, and an outer pipe 7. The end of the outer pipe 7 is bent to form a protective plate 8 to shield the laser light. A non-adhesive material (for example, Teflon) 9 is compounded around the protective plate 8. The handpiece portion 3 having this structure is inserted into the body, the protective plate 8 is inserted between the affected tissue 10 and the normal tissue 11, and laser light is irradiated. The affected tissue 10 is cut as shown in FIG. At this time, the laser light is shielded by the protective plate 8 and does not irradiate the normal tissue 11 so that it is safe. Further, since the surface of the protective plate 8 is covered with the non-adhesive material 9, the affected tissue 10 is not burned, and smooth work can be performed. In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, the protective plate 8 has a predetermined radius, that is, a formula. It is possible to expand the luminous flux of the reflected light by reducing the value of r represented by. S is the distance from the light source to the protective plate 8, and S'is the distance between the intersection (focal point) of the reflected light and the protective plate 8. With this structure, the reflected light spreads as shown in FIG. 4, the power density decreases, and the safety is ensured. Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the affected tissue 10 contacts only the both ends of the protective plate 8 and is separated in the central portion, so that the affected tissue 10 is in a form of applying tension to both ends, which is easy to cut and is effective without seizure. Be correct.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the optical fiber cable configured as described above, it is possible to perform a safe and reliable operation without damaging normal tissues in the body or the like, and since it is covered with a non-adhesive material, seizure does not occur. In addition to the absence thereof, dirt such as body fluid can be easily removed, and since the end of metal or the like does not appear on the surface, it is safer for tissue contact.
