する。このとき、各従動ローラが人工芝ローラを回転可
能に支持する。その際、抵抗低減手段により人工芝がフ
ィールドから受ける抵抗を減少させる。また人工芝の非
長方形大形部分を芯軸に人工芝ローラとして巻取ると
き、一端部から他端部に向かって螺旋状に小径になって
ゆき、自重分布の不均一により人工芝ローラが撓んだ
り、変形したりするが(図7参照)、人工芝ローラの直
径変化に追従するように芯軸の両端部を昇降手段により
昇降させて、人工芝ローラの全長を各従動ローラにより
均一に支持し、人工芝ローラの撓みや変形を防止して、
繰出しや巻取りを円滑に行うので、巻きベルト(図7の
110参照)を使用せずに、人工芝ローラの繰出し及び
巻取り・収納を行うことができて、人工芝ローラの繰出
し作業及び巻取り・収納作業を迅速化できる。
