Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable branching power distribution in a desired position through a simple branching work by making an electrical connection in a desired position of a flat indoor low-tension main line cable by insertion of a branch connector having an edged contact into the conductor portion of the cable from above an outer sheath, and connecting the connector to a branch cable via a fuseless circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION:A low-tension main line cable 1 comprises a plurality of solid, or stranded, wires aligned on the same plane on the outside of which is a plurality of insulated cores 11 each covered with a flat insulating material 13 such as a polyethylene and arranged in parallel on the same plane, on the outside of which is an outer sheath 14 such as vinyl chloride. A branch connector 2 has an edged contact 21 and a terminal 22 formed integrally with each other, and the contact 21 in a desired position along the length of the cable 1 is inserted into a conductor 12 from above the outer sheath 14 of the cable to electrically connect the connector 2 to the conductor 12 of the cable. The connector 2 is connected to the terminal 6 of a fuseless circuit breaker 3 by a connecting wire 5.

2. Description of the Related Art In the branching of a low voltage trunk cable, which has a lot of conventional branching wiring, a cable conductor is peeled off at a position where branching is required by stripping a part of an outer coating of the cable and an insulator. After exposing and exposing a branching cable by assembling a branching connector at this portion, it was wired through a predetermined no-fuse breaker. However, in such a method of taking out the branch cable, the conductor exposure of the trunk cable, the attachment of the branch connector,
There are many disadvantages such as repair work for insulators and outer coatings and installation work of fuseless breakers, which requires a lot of labor and time for on-site work.

In order to simplify the work at the site, there is a method in which a branching position is set in advance at a manufacturing factory and a branching-processed cable is used. But,
When actually wiring using a cable with such a branch, due to the bending of the cable itself and the bending of the wiring passage, the branch position does not match the required position,
Since the branching portion is larger than the outer diameter of the cable, there is a problem that it cannot be passed through a conduit or the like.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves the above problems and provides a branch distribution system for indoor low-voltage mains cables, which can be easily branched at the site and can branch at any position. The feature is that the indoor low-voltage trunk cable has a flat structure, and a branch connector equipped with a tip-shaped contact is inserted into the conductor of the cable from the outer coating of the cable at an arbitrary position in the length direction of the cable. The electrical connection is made in and the branch cable is connected through a no-fuse breaker.

As described above, according to the branch distribution system of the indoor low voltage trunk cable of the present invention, the trunk cable is covered from the outer jacket without removing the outer jacket of the trunk cable and a part of the insulator. Since branching can be done by inserting a branching connector, branching work is very easy,
Moreover, it is possible to branch at any position of the trunk cable. Therefore, if it is used as a free access floor wiring in an office where there are many branches from the main line cable, or as a power distribution system in a condominium, a hotel, etc., it is extremely effective in terms of shortening the work time on site and simplifying the work.
