【実施例】本発明の実施に当っては、次の様な変化も組
み合わせて用いられる。 (イ)座標入力部8、スイッチ入力部7を、それぞれ独
立した入力装置として用いる。 (ロ)自在アーム1を、ロッドアンテナや折り曲げリン
ク機構等、位置設定の自由度を持った他の構造の部品に
置き換える。 (ハ)自在アーム1の根元を、台座やケース等に着脱や
収納が可能な方法で固定した状態の製品として提供す
る。 (ニ)トラックボール2は、任意の市販品も使える様、
自在アーム1の先の取り付け部をこれが着脱可能な構造
とし、これとスイッチ入力部がコネクタ等で分離可能な
構造とする。 (ホ)逆に横成の簡素化等の為、専用化したトラックボ
ールとしてスイツチを省略し、完全にフレーム部のスイ
ッチで機能代行させる。 (ヘ)さらに、ニとホのそれぞれで、各入力部の接続用
コネクタも省略してケーブルで一体化し、分離不可能な
接続状態とする。 (ト)フレーム3を、ゴーグルやヘルメット,ヘッドホ
ーン等の、頭部に固定する機能を持つ他の部品と置き換
えたり、これらと組合せる為の系合手段としての構造
を、フレーム3またはスイッチ4直接に持たせる。 (チ)操作上の条件に応じて、スイッチ4の左右を切り
替えるスイッチ等を回路の途中に挿入する。 (リ)トラックボール2のケーブルを自在アーム1の中
を通す構造とする。 (ヌ)スイッチ4は顔の筋肉の動きとの関係から、顔面
との接触部が滑るなり転がるなりの機能や、軽く確実に
操作が可能な構造と、汗や脂肪や化粧品等による腐食に
耐える事、また操作者に適度のスイッチ反応が返るよう
にクリック付きのスイッチである事等が望まれ、本発明
の例では、先端にローラーの付いたレバー付きリミット
スイッチを利用する事で、これらすべての課題を克服し
たが、これらの条件や操作者の個人差を適度に克服する
特性を持つものなら、単純な押しボタン構造のスイッチ
